There is a messaging system on Instagram. My friend literally took a selfie, sent it as a DM to some girl with a question in the caption I just showed him on the app and they started a small conversation and they're about to meet sometime next week.

Props to C. I remember reading a post on here about a guy saying he makes himself familiar. You can't just randomly pop up. Walk around the store for a bit, make sure the girl is noticing you (and your SMILE).

Move on. Gotta take that L humbly.

I gotta ask, didn't you laugh after it was all over? I find myself laughing after almost every rejection. Realizing not only how easy it was, but how all the obstacles were really in your head. Glad to see someone else stepping out of their comfort zone!

The thing is that this wasn't a bad date, it was a girl either not knowing how to say no or just taking advantage how OP implied.

No, because at that point there was still a chance of this being an actual date. When he realized what she was doing, he spoke up at the right moment.

During a conversation? I would say maybe they're feeling awkward. Not everyone is comfortable with eye contact and there is such a thing as too much eye contact as well. Call them out on the awkwardness and see how it goes. Or, maybe even lighten up on the eye contact if it's the latter.

I think I now what DD you're talking about. Too many of the girls from the community college I attend are married. Not even just with someone, or engaged. Straight up married. You just can't help but laugh.

Why do so these PUA curse excessively? Is it just their way of being relatable?

Holy shit! That Rejection thing is actually pretty good. It reminded me if a time my friend wanted to see me approach a girl. I picked a pretty girl whom I honestly did not see as more than someone who was pretty (Wouldn't really date or pursue if that make sense) and came in with no intention of continuing past a number close, and not even expecting to get it at that. I don't feel right using this term, but she was practice. That was the first girl I approached in college. It also helped that w…

Maybe she just likes too laugh. Have fun, man. Be a pal and don't do her dirty.

what I did was take note of the reactions and vibes I was getting/giving. Noticed some people liked eye contact, but not the entire freaking conversation. Noticed my voice was either mocked for being too deep or mumbled, spoke clearer. Noticed I didn't like my tone at times, spoke with a comfortable tone. I also kind of have a somewhat bad habit of thinking I'm in a TV show or something, so my facial reactions tend to paint a picture.

this wasn't even funny and I still laughed for some reason.

I was told to buy middle of the mall knockoff shades (or H&M, preferably) when out in a club/party because "in the dance floor those broads can't tell the difference. " Funny advice, but if you're into stunting like that I guess you should go for it.

this actually works. I scream out people's name when in a lively group environment to see who reacts, and when they do I laugh and go on about my day.

That's a but too much. Some girls will react, some won't. Some will be offended some will see it as an accident. No girl is the same. This is a terrible indicator and shouldn't be normally practiced.

that's actually a nice way of putting it. You use the same tactics when you're looking for a "different" girl.

They only thing I fear is getting cheated on while in a long term relationship I am 100% invested in. Seeing and hearing all these stories about bf shit tests and girls feeling guilty after they got with another guy. Maybe I've been in those posts too much and it's getting into my head, but this shit really makes you think.

What I am getting from this is to know when you're losing and to be aware of your surroundings to properly gauge your "energy" (felt like DBZ right there).

Very awesome of you OP. I just gotta clarify, what does you mean by low energy?

I think it might just be OP's way of saying the one your after is almost always thinking the same thing as you and not to put them on a cerebral pedestal.

Stuff like that last one would worry me about my girl (I'm not in a relationship atm). That's flat out cheating in my book. I know you said why you went with it (and I agree), but it makes you think. Congrats man. Enjoy.

They've known each other for 13 years. That definitely gets a pass here.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
