Holy shit, this thread is like a gender-reversed MGTOW forum from 2016. It's fascinating. Almost every complaint about TRP here is a complaint I've seen some MGTOW guy have about feminism before. Complete with classics like "My encounters with *ideology* online has led me to believe that all *other gender* secretly hates me and is full of awful bitter people" and "I deliberately seek out spaces with *ideology* to get angry at them, because they are mentally ill. I view it as my duty in life to c…

Seriously though, dating in college is dating on easy mode, just like making friends in college was on easy mode. I'm an autistic weirdo and I did fine in college on both fronts. After graduating, when everyone's social circles have solidified, it gets way, way harder.

Yes, absolutely. I dated someone like this for a few years. It ended up being one of the better relationships I've had. I'd do it again in a heartbeat. Then again, I'm willing to admit that I'm average myself. I think most people here have ridiculously inflated views of themselves. I also think most people here underestimate how coachable someone like this is. It's not hard to get them interested in the gym if you go, to get them to do what you enjoy in bed, or to get them interested in your hob…

Why is he given so much power to objectively define needs based on his own subjective opinion? Because he was a professor of psychology at Colombia who published a peer-reviewed paper on it?

Maslow originally put sex in the essential tier of the hierarchy of needs, next to shelter. There's a long running debate about whether or not it belongs there, but yes, there are some psychologists who view those things as equivalent.

This, the "natural state" of humans is being homeless and starving. No matter how much we agree we shouldn't shame the homeless or the poor, it doesn't mean that anyone would voluntarily choose to be those things or that those things don't suck. No amount of "don't base your self worth on your net worth" is going to comfort someone who can't put food on the table. Same principle applies here.

But how would you mitigate that advantage? Are you suggesting dating quotas? Do you think that women should have sex with people that they don’t find attractive? Would you have sex with someone you don’t fancy? I just think it's funny how a lot of blue-pillers are turbo-progressives in their day to day lives, but suddenly become Randian hyper-capitalists when talking about the sexual marketplace. "Regulation? How absurd!" If you talked about the housing market the way you talked about the dating…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
