There are some places where it is sort of true. Its a bit more complicated than just "living with" a female. For example, in some places you have to "assert a state of marriage" in public. Like say that he's your husband or she's your wife etc.. Google "common law marriage" for your state or country and maybe consult an attorney for more details.

Like I told my ex-wife when the papers were served, "What I did or did not want is irrelevant. What you have chosen is at hand." They made their beds, not sorry they don't like laying in them.

I think that was from one of the Batman movies. Either way, it's still true. Leads me to another movie quote that I love and is true regardless of where it originated. "Some things are true, whether you believe in them or not." ~Seth "City of Angels"

Funny how the women's fashion, model and magazine industries are dominated by women and yet, "societal beauty standards" are somehow men's fault. Tf outta here. The only ones pressuring women into "beauty standards" are other women. For 99% of men, "not a land whale" and "not a total bitch" equals acceptable.

This is the tragedy of society no one wants to even acknowledge, let alone discuss. Democrat and leftist policies put in place in the 60's is responsible for what we are seeing now. It's going to take several decades of hard "No" and "Grow up" to even begin to put a dent in the problem. Society just needs to find the courage to throw out the first no and stick to it.

Imagine waking up in the morning and not having any demands in your time then or throughout the day other than what you want/need to do for you. Now imagine it's payday and, aside from paying the normal bills, you have no demands on your paycheck other than what you want to spend it on or not. Imagine coming home from work, tired and sore from a long day, and no demands to hurry up with your hot, soothing shower because someone else needs in there too, despite them being home all day. The list says; 2007 "The Cake is a lie" You said; Which show came out in 2007. Implying that a show was responsible for the phrase. I said; No show, a game, Portal. You proceeded (apparently) to argue that Portal was not responsible for the origination of the phrase, but instead implied that Big Bang Theory was. I was countering (perceived) incorrect information with correct information. If I was wrong, apologies.

True, but, it became a famous meme. SO they wouldn't have to play to know the phrase, ... https://www.dictionary.com/e/memes/the-cake-is-a-lie/ https://knowyourmeme.com/memes/the-cake-is-a-lie Big Bang Theory may have picked it up, but it came from Portal.

That would help, but you still need to change some other laws. In commiefornia, paternity or not doesn't matter. If "you're held to be acting in a parental role" you're still on the hook. "In the best interest of the child". Example, you and your gf have been living together for 2 yrs. She gets pregnant, you find out 6 mo's later the kids not yours. You're introduced as and acting as daddy for 6 mos. Child supports still yours to pay. Without changing some basic laws, paternity tests are a nice …

Judging by the stories you see in the news of women killing, abusing and otherwise doing despicable things to their kids, even that is debatable. I'd take the affection and companionship of my dog over anything offered by any living person at this point in my life. He knows when I'm sad and tries to cheer me up. He knows when I'm tired and cuddles at the foot of my bed and he knows when I'm happy, and brings me his favorite toy to play. All without either of us making a single noise. My dog understands me in a way no human, especially a female, ever has.

I've been effectively MGTOW since I got divorced around 2004. Luckily we were only married a year and a half, both worked and had no kids. As a result I didn't get raped in the divorce, but after seeing several friends get that treatment and then my own divorce, I was and will remain solidly on our side of the river.
