3	Financial Obligations and boundaries Honestly, I wouldn’t do 2/2/3 at any age. It can put pressure and anxiety on kids if/when they forgot something at either parent’s house (this WILL happen. Kids are kids.) My ex-wife and I exchange on Sunday afternoon/evening. Yes, it is less time between seeing them but when you do you get a big chunk of time that’s more absorbed.
