I can follow the reasoning if we accept that being straight was considered a gender norm not so long ago. Just being Gay makes you less manly and more like a woman in some people’s eyes.

If the world owes you nothing you owe nothing to the world. Fine as a concept I guess but we can choose to all help each other out instead and give and take both ways.

Got Pregnant is fine, sounds more familiar to British ears. (Got) Pregnated sounds American. If you prefer to use American English then thats fine too.

Hey I never used a comma at all! Thats libel! I had a loicence for the quotation marks but unfortunately it was a German (Eine Lizenz) issued one which is still valid in the EU, and UK for now.

Never visiting London and not intending to. Does that extend to the whole of the UK?

Funnily enough royalists say the Queen is a tourist attraction some say she is „the“ tourist attraction. Edit: Do supporters of the royal family not argue they are good for tourism?

Does that go for the UK in general?

I dont think Cuckoos have sex with another male bird? I mean they cant just cop off with a crow or a pigeon. They lay their eggs in another bird species’ nest then let that bird raise their young. Same sentiment, just no sex involved interspecies or otherwise.

Isn’t the judiciary independent though? Could the judge not have chosen to ignore the minimums set by the legislature? I get that may open a whole can of worms for appeals etc, but in terms of actual powers being exercised on the day?

I think a lot depends on the individual too, on the surface America is vastly different than Japan is compared to European countries. Its when you dig a bit deeper that you start to see how big the differences can be, but most people no matter who they are just want a nice life no worries and to be happy which we can all relate to.

Not that i disagree, but its pretty academic. i cant remember the source but I read that if the British and the Americans didnt speak the same language Americans would find the British as strange and as foreign as they do the Japanese. (Thats not quoted exactly but along those lines)

Unfortuantly this is my town, unfortunately there are a lot of stupid people there, male and female, I do question why someone who is so self entitled and comes out with utter crap has made the news though, theres much worse than that. Maybe a jab at people growing up on benefits turning them into dependents, especially given the election coming up.

I cant agree, I work with a lot of women and I have a LTR, the plutonic female friendships are good, yeah its different from guy friendship but you depend on people in different ways, and for me being the best i can be means making all different contacts and having a mix of friends

Hmm cant say I agree with this, I have alot of female seniors in my job and most are great, pretty chilled no problem to anyone, the others just want to appease senior managment. Same with the males, ok theres one or 2 guys and girls that seem to want to show their power, but few and far between. Think it depends on the kind of person the job attracts.
