It is actually a multiple of the years you were together in months, before it gets better. I think the number you multiply the months by is determined by the sincerity of your commitment. For me it was 5 months for every year we were together, and I still have dreams about her that send me back to as if it didn't get better at all, but it is actually better, most days.

Yeah, divorce sucks, but do what ever you want. Marry, or not. Ultimately, it's your choice. Yeah, I tried to explain this to my ex wife about a year before our divorce. She didn't like what I was saying and started shoving me, one day. You are not wrong, but who wants to believe that all women are like that? The only way you act like that out the gate is if you already believe that women are out to get you. That being said, historically, we have generally treated women like they are property, and there is probably a good, philosophical reason for that.

Used to be and can't be are the same thing. I never wanted to get divorced. I had a life I was working on, and she threw that away. I have no desire to try again. It's hard to even want to breath sometimes... women are worthless. I struggle to see how they have made anything in my life better, and easily see how they made everything worse including me even being alive. My mom was fairly heartless, and her mom was the main reason for that.

I will likely never trust a woman again, but that has nothing to do with money. They are too easily deceived and distracted with things. I find my emotional response to them is the worst kind of trap for my future, because they have proven to not be what I intuitively think they should be. Women died generations ago. I have never seen one stay with a man till death parted them.

This is actually what helped me turn my back on her, eventually. Facts are, she attacked me, she called the cops, she filed for divorce. I've been out here trying to convince myself that I'm insane just so I can be a part of my sons life, but this is clearly abuse. As soon as I told her she was abusive and that I wasn't going to kill myself for her bullshit I felt better. I wish I never believed her when she told me she loved me...
