1) get a lawyer 2) document everything (she will freak the fuck out when she sees what is happening and might make irrational choices.) 3)be calm and know that this will be hard, but there are people going through this exact same situation. 4) GET A LAWYER!

I'll try to ELI:5 this for you Timmy. For a long time people around the world thought of women as only able to raise families. Thankfully that time has passed by, and women can now do anything they like. But our laws haven't caught up to society. So women are still treated as if they need protection by the law, for marriage. This is why Alimony exist. To support women of old when the man would run away, leaving her unable to survive. i.E women traded marriage for the guarantee of lifelong up kee…

Attempted...... Innocent until proven guilty. in our litigious society if they are proven innocent they would sue and win. No choice, best option for everyone. So you may disagree but it doesn't make you right.

We have to pay these people their salary or they can counter sue. It's not a perfect system, but its the best we can come up with.

So called blah blah blah, no true scotsman blah blah blah. What she is doing here is right, what she has done on other instances is wrong. Should people dismiss everything she says b/c shes a domestic abuser? No. Should we canonize her for this, I doubt anyone would here would say yes. Whats your point? your saying that domestic abuse is a severe enough crime to discredit anyone has to say about the rights of man, or woman. That has committed such an offense? I doubt many people would argue that…

So would you say my first statement is fair. If you applied that logic to other racial groups it would be inappropriate?

While you are literally correct, that they prefaced the statement with other statements about MRA's. Do you really think that they mean anything other then white people. There has been a concerted effort to associate MRA = Alt Right = Racist white person (nationalist). I'm trying to think of a good analogy about how speaking for 5 minutes about white people and how they are being silly here. Then without any sort of indication that we are moving to another topic, start talking about MRA's. one m…

They specifically mention white people........ did you watch the video? also , if they specifically didn't mention white people, they are talking about the alt-right, which I think has undeniably been linked in the media to white nationalism (true or not) which I think makes it fair to say they are talking about white people No? Everyone is welcome here, BTW.

This 20 second clip sums up their hypocrisy https://youtu.be/6VnBrnIgXe0?t=340 IF a white person used that logic on any other non-white race, he would be a racist.

The quality of submissions on two x is abysmally low. Most post are self posts about their boyfriends x. It really just seems like a support forum for women. Not for content.

I don't want to be that cynical but........ If taxi drivers are raping women..... and they made an app with only female drivers...... Wouldn't you just call a driver for a ride and rape her? I mean it sounds like rape on wheels...........

While that does seem to be a theme surrounding new wave feminism, talking in rhetoric like you are doesn't help people see how things are. Just tone it down a little, and maybe someone will listen. The only other option is to mobilize, which won't happen.

The entire idea that eliminating that statue of limitations is the best solution to the problems that she said we have with the justice system seems far fetched at best, and unproductive, or even destructive at worst. Rape and sexual assault are different, however. Other crimes are much more likely to be reported quickly, but we know that victims of sexual violence often take years to come forward because they may feel ashamed, mistakenly blame themselves for what happened or fear they will not …

I think she was, when she said. "I have three children" after he claims she takes alimony. Why would she use her children as a defense against his claims of alimony unless for some reason she was trying to pass off alimony as child support. So I have to disagree with you there GoatSoap.....

Alimony =/= Child Support Child Support is to pay for the care and upbringing of the children you had. Alimony is maintenance payments you make to support your wife, after your divorced to keep her in the lifestyle she has become accustomed. They are not even close tot he same thing.....

They can be victims of other crimes (like rape) in prison. which would make them a victim at that time.

people can still be victims of other offenses even if they are criminals.
