2	Does this really work? Based on how they treat other people. Take this guy I work with, for example. He exudes self-confidence, he has no problem picking up women. I don't even hate the guy -- he and I are actually pretty good friends. But sometimes he's just such an asshole. Like earlier this week, a coworker had brought her daughter in shopping (we work in a department store), and the guy just randomly told the little girl exactly what she was getting for Christmas. 1	Does this really work? No, your point didn't go over my head, I simply disagreed with it. Are you sure it's your own ego that isn't fragile? You're using a blanket statement to declare that all perceived cocky assholes are not actually assholes. The reality is that a lot of them actually are assholes. Not because they're confident.
