I think men are perfectly capable of destroying themselves. Hell, even the choice to enter a relationship is ultimately made by men. If we’re going to ascribe predictable, deterministic behavior to women, then we can hardly lay responsibility at their feet.

I dunno, I imagine that chefs are pretty stoked that people other than themselves experience the food they make. I’m not a chef, but cooking for me is always far more rewarding when I can share the finished product with someone.
