I’m convinced narcissists has become a catch all word. Many don’t seem to understand the meaning. My late husband was a diagnosed narcissist.

Please document these violent comments. It’s a small step from talking that horrible and acting on it.

I think it’s because women now have so many options they never had before. When I was first married if I’d been alone I’d have lost support and child care. Today women have so much support they didn’t have in my times. Plus there’s not the stigma of being a divorced woman like there was. It’s also socially now easier to have girls nights and trips. Those were taboo when I was 20.

Ex relationship with him. Verify where he works. Where does he live in case you need to track him down. Phone number. His custody of his child 50/50? Once you have his name and phone number, you can search him on Truth Finder. Yes they’ll charge you but will give you a lot of info and it’s confidential. Good luck.

B. Suck it up and ask enough questions to be sure your daughter is safe.

If the home will be Ex’s don’t put your name anywhere on it. You sign something now means you have a mortgage and can’t buy another house. Assuming is still buying. Say no and hold Ex in contempt.

I’m a member of an online group and the 50 yo women say they go for 30 yo guys now because even the 40yo ones have ED. They just want to get laid.

In a lot of states the Courts will penalize parties who cheated. Just to consider.

My ex BIL took out a mortgage on his house to pay the $200k court ordered. Poor guy will have to work until he dies as he was 60.

Talk to an Attorney about moving out. In some states leaving the marital home is abandonment and has negative consequences.

I’ve seen these posts and the women are like who does he think he is. They’re the ones with multiple baby daddy’s. Gee be better ladies.

Is she in menopause. It changes women drastically. Medication helps. Ask my then teen son who suffered along with his Dad until I found something that worked. Believe me going to work with sweat rolling down your body was only one of my many symptoms. Bottom line make sure her changes aren’t medical. Is she just a jerk? Get a lawyer.

Ignore the negative Nancie’s. Continue to learn more about your new friend. Don’t move too fast. After about 6 months move in together. Living together is the true test. That’s when you find if you’re compatible. Be sure you’re both financially good. You don’t need another dependent. Yes consider a prenup so you don’t get hosed. 2 years would be good. Good luck.

You don’t say what your investments are but assuming you’re equal then no alimony. If you’re substantially higher $ then it should be discussed how to split expenses including vacations.

I forget you can’t be shy on here. Free to have sex and not be committing adultery.
/r/Divorce_Men24/09/24 07:57 PM

In most states if you have filed for legal separation and it is accepted by Court, you are free to date etc. if not and you sleep with someone you’re committing adultery. Ran across this researching a book.

Where are you? Most states to be legal has to be separate houses. Get out of that bed! If she touches you or you touch her she can claim rape.

Ask her to dinner and start the conversation. You have a long way back but give it a try. Don’t expect overnight results. Take it slow. She deserves that.

Contact Therapist first. Have her talk about this and you will have corroboration of the statements. Then talk to your lawyer.

You should never babysit for her… so sorry I’m busy. Suggest she ask the Dad. And I’d be tempted to tell the Dad. Sounds like he has the money to fight if he wanted to.

What’s more important… money or happiness? You deserve to be loved and happy. Consult an attorney.

Take these charges seriously. Depending on your county and State they will investigate very closely. Happened to a friend and he was told he was lucky it was a different County as his current County DA had a hard on for child molesters. Get a good defense attorney and hope you never have to use them. Good luck.

Since divorce laws are different by State contact a lawyer for an initial consult. Be sure to do what first person said. Check your joint accounts. She may have already started withdrawing funds.
