That these sorts of cases will be this era's version of lobotomies, thalidamide, etc and in a few decades we will look back on it as something horrific done to people who didn't know better by people who should have known better.

Nah man, don't wish that sort of stuff on people. It's like seeing an idiot driving badly on the road who hasn't actually done anything to you (cut you off etc.), you can quite rightly point and laugh when you pass the mangled wreck that they got themselves into but to wish that wreck upon them is a bit much. (also, you appear morally superior if you're into that sort of shit) She'll likely end up with what normally happens to women who work in that field, either a string of unhealthy and unhapp…

Good god man; I think that comment breached the Geneva convention.

How long before the work places that "just seem to not be able to find qualified" women take over? 5-10 years? I've already seen a few but they're all still small.

It'll be hilarious when she tries the same shit at a job interview and they tell her, "her clothes aren't appropriate". I think she'll either be in for a rude awakening or more likely she'll just somehow blame the "patriarchy" as to why she's 30 and never held a job for more than a week.

Give it a couple years and if she's not smart she'll likely end up blowing all the money trying to stay relevant. Either way, we're getting into peak Weimar territory.

The highest quality wine available, known to some as box wine, chateau cardboard or goon.

I can't wait for the first case where a trans-man gets pregnant and tries to collect child support from the partner (bonus points if it's a trans woman). It's be a total shit show.

I think "Jowls" is the term you're looking for. That and the caked on makeup is really unattractive.

Makes sense; because men don't cry, unless it's from their third eye.

No worries, I made the same mistake before and someone corrected me as well. Yeah, I agree that mass manufacturing here is gone for now. The only way it'll come back is if there is major trade disruption (war, tariffs, climate change, oil price etc.) Even then, it'll probably be smaller manufacturers working jointly on products.

Isuzu didn't make any of the Colorados. They did make the Holden Rodeo (I own a 93 Rodeo that still has the Isuzu QC stickers on some of the windows and has done nearly half a million kM), but when Holdens cut ties with Isuzu they had to change the name as the Rodeo name is owned by Isuzu. Isuzu then released "Rodeos" under the new name D-Max. So a Colorado looks more a D-Max than the other way around (given it's based on the styling of the old Rodeos). That being said, now that Holdens doesn't …

So, shut up and tow the line and that's how it is? huh? I understand that. MY comment is that I DO NOT LIKE THAT, And I spoke on it. When did things get so bad? And I say that on a forum, here. Where MEN understand women And they DO NOT LIKE THAT And they speak on it And here men gather and say When did things get so bad? But for mgtow , your fine, there is sympathy and no white knights defending thots honor. But for Vidya, you take up the white knight armor and tell me "tow the line and that's …

Standards? What standards, name one game or even better anything that was perfect at first release. I'll wait... Either way, you're the fuck wit who willingly parted with their money before checking that the product was any good so you've only got yourself to blame. Nailed it. It's funny really, we're on a sub that champions the idea of AWALT (not forums memba?) and somehow you think that same standard doesn't apply to everything else in life. Guess what, it does. No matter how hard you want you…

Honestly, I understood your point by "Hotfix 1.0" but you do realise this doesn't just apply to games these day don't you. Hell, it's always been like this when any new product comes out. When even fucking cars come with manufacturing faults/bugs I'm not surprised when a game does. Or are you saying that only modern gaming suffers from this problem? Now, admittedly in the past before post launch patches became common, the devs spent a lot more time on bug testing/fixes. But we all know of old ga…

Yeah, I'll agree with the bug problems and definitely agree that the loading takes way too long and needs to be fixed. With regard to speed, I don't mind it but I could see some would be bothered by it (though isn't there an option in the difficulty to turn off the weight/speed effect?). But, I honestly don't know of any game recently that hasn't had issue post release and released a slew of bugfixes as time went on. So to argue like they're the only devs that do this is bullshit. Then again, th…

Even better would be having the "baby" being delivered to the house by an flying drone or something. Similar to the old stories about storks etc.

I didn't see this comment before I wrote my own; but I think it's more likely that the fields that women entered en-mass 60 years ago which were already staffed (i.e. admin, health care, retail etc.) simply provided an oversupply of labour in those fields which of course drove down wages. Because what company in it's right mind is going to pay more, when someone else (with the same qualifications) is willing to do it cheaper. So we see a degradation of wages in those fields, but in the fields wo…

I liked this part "Evidence, alas, demonstrates that devaluing stereotypes follow women into the workplace – because once women enter an industry, the pay drops." Because of course sexism is to blame rather than that's simply what happens when you increase the available work force. I mean which business isn't going to choose the best qualified but also the cheapest option, which will always drive down wages.
