You are way overthinking this. There's no difference between "the designated sex" and "one designated sex". When judges interpret laws, they try to determine the intent of the legislators, and the intent of this law is clearly to limit entry to the sex indicated on the sign, not create a free-for-all where anyone can enter and then keep the other sex out.

All of this depends on your state/local laws. If you have any concerns, talk to a family lawyer. However, the general rule is to always pay child support through the state system. That way, there is no dispute about whether you paid or not. The government isn't supposed to keep any of the money, and it would be very difficult for them to cheat because there are plenty of couples that are civil enough to talk about it and notice that the amount received doesn't match.

This doesn't restrict a person from using the wrong bathroom, it basically means that if a woman goes into the mens restroom, it's now a woman's restroom. Only one sex can use a restroom at a time and you could be prosecuted for going in there when she's in there. No, that's not what the bill says at all. Where do people get this stuff? I am trying to understand if I talk to the detective just say she is lying or just remain silent, and if things escalate, then lawyer up? If you remain silent, then it is unlikely that anything will escalate. Most likely the detective will tell her that there isn't enough evidence to proceed. If you are actually charged with anything (meaning you get court documents, not just a threatening letter) then you will have to see a lawyer or request a public defender.

Do NOT go to the detective by yourself. If you are approached by the detective, say NOTHING. Answer all questions with "I decline to speak without an attorney present". Trust me on this one. Nothing good can ever come out of talking to the police. If you are actually charged with a crime, then get a lawyer. But that probably won't happen unless you start talking and say something that provides evidence.

The Republicans restored due process for college students accused of sexual misconduct. The Democrats undid it at the first opportunity unfortunately. This is what "reason.com" tells you, but it's a very misleading headline. The only change they made was a technical change to the way the evidence is heard.
