TL;DR You'd be surprised how many girls feel the same way and are happy to come over to your apartment on the "first date". Honestly though it really depends on what you're looking for and what kind of girl you're dealing with. It sounds like you in particular are you looking for a FWB or a ONS. Now you just need to filter out the girls that feel the same; how? Be direct with your game, escalate quickly within meeting her, and gauge her interest as you do. If she reciprocates and isn't put off b…

Hmm... well if that's the case then I would look for her in your shared course, sit next to her, keep interacting with her, but get increasingly flirty. Start out by trying to make soft but continuous eye contact ("eye-fuck" her) and see how she reacts. If she gets flustered and nervous, she's probably REALLY into you and that's a green light to escalate further (ask if she wants to come over to do homework and "study"). If she gets confused or annoyed or reacts neutrally, then she's probably se…

Here's the deal man. She is probably at least somewhat attracted to you (whether it be physically/sexually/other). But, and this is a super important lesson to learn: It is a waste of your time and emotional health trying to figure out WHY someone did something (unless you have a very close/deep relationship with them). The only thing you can control 100% is your reaction and the actions you take based on that reaction. So ask yourself: Would I like to pursue this girl as a romantic partner? OR,…

Bi guy here. You are definitely NOT UGLY, and seeing your picture gives me a hunch as to why you're getting the reactions that you describe: You're (unintentionally) intimidating! I'm short on time so I'll make this as concise as possible. When you're attempting game, you can easily cause a subconscious fight-or-flight response in your 'target'. Most humans experience this mini-adrenaline rush when a stranger cold approaches them. I struggled with the same problems as you, still do in fact! Only…

WOW, this post is so full of misinformation I don't even know where to start! For anyone reading this and wanting to try it, PLEASE do yourself a favor and go to r/sex, look up "kegels", work on your pelvic floor muscle strength, THEN look up one of the many accurate posts on Multiple Male Orgasms on that subreddit. OP, either your friend seriously glossed over some important details when explaining this book to you, you somehow failed to include said details in your post, or the book itself is …

In short, it's the skill of actually focusing intently on someone when they are talking to you, as opposed to letting your attention and mind wander (which is what most people do when "listening"). Another thing to watch out for is "conversational narcissism". While listening many people think of something they want to say but the other person isn't finished speaking. In turn, they stop paying full attention to the other person because they're subconsciously waiting for their turn to talk and do…

Best reply here. The analogy to Overselling is actually one I've not heard before and it's a legitimately good one!

You're thinking about this the wrong way. I've said this on seddit before and I'll say it again: Introvert and Extrovert are not two "types" of personality, like two sides of a coin or two check-boxes. They are opposite ends of a wide spectrum. Also I think you're confusing Extroversion with "having social skills" and Introversion with "being shy/socially awkward". This is a common misconception because its a stereotype that generally fits, but while these traits may be associated with each-othe…

Myth #11: 'Introvert' and 'Extrovert' are two sides of a coin. No! They are two ends on a scale. A continuum, if you will. It's a little disingenuous for the author to claim that "25% of people are introverts." The world is not black and white; it is a false dichotomy to say that someone IS or ISN'T an introvert. Instead, some people are MORE or LESS introverted than others. This is why I don't like identifying myself or others with 'Introvert' or 'Extrovert'. It's a self-fulfilling prophecy in …

There are a lot of comments but hopefully at least someone sees this: If you are very very anxious about eye contact, start by practicing while wearing sunglasses. I used to be terrible at making eye contact, then when I realized that nobody can tell where you are looking while wearing sunglasses, I'd look right at people passing me all the time. Something about being behind the sunglasses gave me the confidence to look people in the eye. Then it's only a matter of time before you can do it with…

I really like the idea of becoming a 'regular'. All it requires is me going out in the evening, which I do anyway. I just need to go to the same place. And there's only one hookah lounge in the are, and I'm broke. Luckily I've got a pipe and tobacco from my dad! So I think I might go there with that. That'll be a good conversation starter too.

Just FYI, I didn't downvote you. Not sure who would. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction.

Ha, that's a great idea. Unfortunately the food at the cafeteria is pretty good and always different, lol.

Yeah, maybe relationship was the wrong word to use. I'm mostly just looking to meet people.

Maybe relationship wasn't the right word to use. Really I'm just looking to meet people. Does that make sense?

This does help. Mostly I'm just looking for relationships. Relevant XKCD (specifically the alt-text).

Are you sure 'HB 9' was a truly 9? ;) We all know how those beer goggles can makes things a little more interesting. But seriously nice job. Like PyouA said, just goes to show how useful having a wingman is.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
