I have to agree a bit here here - women do have more options available to make ourselves look cute or glamourous; you always see not-so-attractive men with beautiful women but rarely the other way around. I think men tend to be more superficial when it comes to looks though, and that most women just want a loyal guy who’s not a complete scrub, even if they are average looking.

Past experiences don’t really make a difference. I think our body and minds forget, or perhaps adapt to current conditions.

Although I think that’s true for many women, I know that my reason for getting a good career was so that I would NOT have to rely on a man to support me financially. That way I would never have to feel “stuck” in a relationship, and could have the freedom to pick a mate who ticks all the other boxes. I wasn’t looking for someone rich, and would have been fine with someone with a much lower income as long as they weren’t a couch potato or deep in debt.

I grew up low class, but it was my drive and CAREER CHOICES that made me become upper middle class and land a guy (in my mid-20s) who’s also a high-earner. Just turned 30 and he proposed. Many other women in my industry have a similar story… so I think you can definitely have both… one thing can lead to the other

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
