Double StandardsAt the Brit Awards the other day Paloma Faith and Daniel Sturridge came out together to present the first award. Paloma went on to make a joke about thinking about pretending to trip just so she could cuddle up to Daniel a bit more. Can you imagine the uproar if the roles in that were reversed? As it is I don't think i've seen a single mention of it. | /r/PussyPassDenied | 28/02/19 08:18 AM
If you have a law degree, you’d think she would have resorted to getting on her knees for better pay...No that sounds about right - have friends there. Associate Director is a junior management level role. | /r/PussyPassDenied | 07/02/19 11:14 PM
Oh no! There goes her main source of income. The old "realised their argument was unreasonable so pick on the language instead" trick...works everytime. Good chat friend. | /r/PussyPassDenied | 10/09/18 01:19 PM
Oh no! There goes her main source of income.2 seconds is enough time to apply a quick and dirty margin which would be completely arbitrary and therefore almost more meaningless than just stating the topline. How am I going to make a reasonable assumption of conversion to vote-sale rates, work out the likely geographic spread of those buyers to estimate delivery costs, and even get a feel for how much people would be willing to pay in that timeframe? Etc... This isn't my business plan so why should I bother? | /r/PussyPassDenied | 10/09/18 01:07 PM
Oh no! There goes her main source of income.Funnily enough, I wasn't about to invest that much time on a comment about women selling used clothes and took an oversimplified approach in looking at just revenue. Just an observation that there is probably still money to be made if she wants it. Done nitpicking? | /r/PussyPassDenied | 10/09/18 12:53 PM
Oh no! There goes her main source of income. If I was her I wouldnt get hung up on the Nos and get sweating ready to sell 3.3k sweaty yoga pants - I don't know the going rate but say $20 each thats a tasty $67k over time in any case... | /r/PussyPassDenied | 10/09/18 11:33 AM
"Contemporary feminists portray women as victims, when in fact most of us feel more empowered than ever... women aren’t charity cases. We don’t need Sarah Jessica Parker to save us. The message working-class women are sending to feminists is clear: back off."Not sure anyone is debating that. My take on this is that they are saying "thanks for the effort so far...but ease off now before you go too far and undermine it all!" | /r/PussyPassDenied | 06/04/18 05:36 PM
Female vlogger asks for free hotel accomodations, is refused, posts tearful video calling the hotel outFair point. The youtube video was horrific tbf. But like I say, there is power in this sort of thing whether I/we like it or not. | /r/PussyPassDenied | 21/01/18 12:55 AM
| -18 | Female vlogger asks for free hotel accomodations, is refused, posts tearful video calling the hotel outSo I love this subreddit but let's take a step back (and I am making some assumptions here)... The "social media influencer" may not know the extent of the hotel's current social media reach when proposing this. The individual seem to have a decent following as far as I can see. Assuming its say €100/night for 4 nights they are offering what is essentially advertising directly to a large group of people who are likely to have similar interests to the individual. It would not take a significant c… | /r/PussyPassDenied | 21/01/18 12:44 AM |
