It’s extremely illegal to fire someone for having jury duty. It does suck to lose a little pay, but it’s part of being a citizen.

I don’t enjoy jury duty. However, I’m a reasonable, intelligent person. If I were ever accused of a crime, I would want reasonable, intelligent people on my jury. So I don’t try to get out of jury duty. We are all in this together, and we should all do our part.

Glad they caught this one before she could act. Gotta laugh at them calling two long guns and a few pistols an "arsenal," though. Whoever wrote that has clearly never seen an actual arsenal. Hell, most hunters own way more than that, much less someone who's actually into shooting sports.

Sounds like the Society for Creative Anachronism (SCA). Some of those guys are pretty hardcore, to be honest. Some branches of SCA actually require you to wear plate armor if you want to participate, because you would die otherwise.
