So, the answer for this is retirement. Extra cash should go into retirement and paying down debt. That being said, I wager you have some pretty significant student loans if you’re making what I think you’re making. So you can probably yeet 100k into that pretty easily. Ok. So, protection orders. In my county, the only people who can serve them in uniform are members of the civil unit. Others can serve the protection order, but not as sheriffs. You have to appear before a magistrate, demonstrate a need, and then have a trial. At LEAST there should have been a filing at the county. If not, she just committed multiple felonies and a whole lotta people are gonna lose jobs and go to jail. Lawyer. NOW.

I think what marriage had been turned into has a ton of flaws. But that’s a part of the human condition. Unless we do things intentionally, with the purpose of making it better, we tend to mess stuff up. Do stuff. Go back to when you were young and happy. What did you used to do? Go for bike rides to get ice cream? Hang out at the mall with friends? Play D&D? Play a sport? Start there. There are martial arts classes always going on, Rec leagues in just about everything, local gaming stores. Facebook even has an events section, go check some of that out.
