I'm in the Bay as well. Thing is, this is a really residential neighborhood so this is totally out of the norm.

I wouldn't recommend it if it didn't work for me. Take it or leave it.

Don't. Do. It. "A moment of fun, a lifetime of regret". Don't be an idiot.

Yes, if you reach across and touch them randomly it would be weird. "Hey, your shirt is quirky, you look like Steve from Blues clues (lightly squeeze arm/elbow)" "Hey, this bar has pretty awesome live music (touch arm)" It literally doesn't matter what you say so long as your actions are congruent with your vibe. If you're nervous as fuck and worried hat it will be weird, it absolutely will be. Just trust that it's not weird. As men, some of us we're not used to this kind of behavior by default,…

Sex isn't about just you dude. Yes it's great to get off, but you have to remember it's an exchange. Personally, I think one of he malt gratifying and enjoyable things about sex is making women squirm with pleasure. I think your attitude will lead to less net sex in the long term, so use that realization to fuel your behavior.

It's contextual. Touch their arm when you share a laugh or are telling her something interesting. Treat it like nothing (because it is). It's not about a "move" or anything like that. It's about displaying hat you can communicate with something more than words. Women are experts at this language, show them you understand he basic vocabulary.

You're seeking external validation. It feels good to be loved and to be affectionate. There's nothing intrinsically wrong with this, although your need for this feeling outside of yourself speaks to low self esteem. I feel the same way at times, especially thinking back on exes and the like. Ultimately, the best relationships will come from a place of feeling good about yourself and not needing it, ironically.

I've been a part of sales group interviews, on the interviewer side. At the end, when the interviewer asks if there are any other questions or comments, raise your hand and ask for the job I front of everyone. Tell them you'd love to work for the company and know you can get the job done and that you'd like the job. Go for the close, trust me.

Learned this the hard way. Loved the girl, but it just wasn't going to happen. Save yourself the trouble. Best of luck.

This is also completely off topic, but your comment has prompted me. I have been recently listening to Dan Carlin's "Hardcore History" podcast and dear fucking god is it awesome. If you are a history guy I recommend checking it out. I have started with the 3 part series "On the Road to Armageddon", which chronicles the lead up and development of WWI. Each episode is like 3 hours long, so its great to listen to on the commute or cleaning the house etc. Incredibly interesting stuff. I didn't fully…

Dude, aside from the fact that that sounds like bona fide ass-hatery, it has almost no bearing on the general principle put forth by OP.
