That’s what dating should be for everyone If you arent vetting women then you’re desperate.

What does that have to do with anything I said? Women can like what they want at the end of the day. But you can’t expect men to be happy about the unrealistic expectations being placed on them.

I think the question becomes “why”? A lot of that has to do with men giving up in the dating world in large part due to the rising expectations of women.

Most men are most certainly and demonstrably not "eliminated from the dating pool". You left off the last part. “By a significant portion of women”. I did not make the argument that all men cant find any women. Btw 63% of young men are single https://thehill.com/blogs/blog-briefing-room/3868557-most-young-men-are-single-most-young-women-are-not/ Also attraction is different than able to date. Plenty of hot guys out there when I'm on the apps I have to swipe left on because they are smokers or fa…

Again, You asked why men have an issue. I explained and instead of acknowledging anything I’m saying you’re just acting defensive. It’s not that you don’t understand. You don’t care. If men’s standards for attractive were the top 10% of women then you’d have a point. It’s not, so you don’t.

You’re not listening You dont even get the chance if you dont meet unrealistic standards like 6 feet tall, 6 inch dick, 6 figure salary. You’re telling poor people “just work harder if you want to be rich”.

They get relationships too because these men want their money and possibly citizenship in the US Same as the women these American men find

In terms of happiness? Yeah, for a lot of people it’s even more important.

You literally asked why men have a problem with it. Most men are eliminated from the dating pool by a significant portion of women. It’s like asking why poor people are upset that the majority of wealth is concentrated in the 1% .

A lot of women have unrealistic standards The majority of men are not 6 feet tall but a size able portion of women have that as a height requirement.

That was a joke but having good posture goes a long way. Most people are giving up a couple inches from poor posture so you can seem taller from that.

I get along with women just as well as men (if not more). That said, dating sucks as a man lol. All the pressure/expectations are on you. Feels like I’m putting on a performance to try and impress her vs actually getting to know her. Also it depends on the kind of woman you date. A lot of modern women have become extremely selfish in response to men being selfish assholes for so long. So even if you’re not a plate spinning red-piller you end up running into FDS types which just isnt worth it. I’…

I have a poor relationship with my mom. I am sympathetic to a lot issues women face when dealing with non present men. I also don’t believe in gender norms so I don’t want a woman to “nurture” me(tbh I dont want anyone doin things for me) . I’m all about being self sufficient and I think it’s a direct response to my mom always throwing things in my face.

If it cant apply to specific situations it’s not accurate or helpful.

My question to you would be how is she making him feel insecure? If she’s straight up negging him then she’s abusive and he shouldnt be with her. If he’s insecure because she’s successful or great looking that’s his own problem that he should address before attempting to date her. Context is always the key.

I’m a man lol A man should be secure in himself vs needing a woman to validate him (applies to both sexes). I don’t deny that it exists for a lot of people. I’m saying that it’s also a big part of why most relationships don’t work.

How? Those men are in the dating pool and women run into them often.

I think this is true but I think it’s dumb You should be dating someone based on if they can make you happy instead of thinking of other men. Imo this is a toxic mindset and why most relationships fail. People dating for social status or to compare to others dilute the dating pool.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
