I found this educational handout from the Canadian governement http://www.edu.gov.mb.ca/k12/cur/socstud/foundation_gr9/blms/9-1-2a.pdf It makes no reference to what you are talking about and I couldn't find anything other than the Military Voter's Act of 1917 which allowed women to vote on behalf of absent male relatives in the military. I do not think women have it all together easier in court, family court may be a different story. I think a lot of people on Men's Rights tend to not understand the feminism is a very broad movement. Sometimes self-identified feminists have completely opposite views on things (like pornography). I am not a troll, though I have felt there is a certain amount of looking the other way about these things. I remember there was an article about a woman who had to pay alimony to her rapist/husband, and it was pretty much dismissed as "well that's the law," something I do not think would be the case if the roles were reversed.

I believe unhappiness is, I have already mentioned I do not find issue with relationships dissolving if partners are unhappy. To clarify, if a partner is unhappy with the situation they are in, they have the right to change that as long as they do it honestly (I do not condone cheating.) There are a number of options, if breaking up is the only one that works that is what it is. I believe you are saying it is a right in a relationship. I do not share that sentiment.

I don't think unwed mothers and bastard children are what is wrong with the world. Marriage is a legal financial contract that merges two legal and economic entities into one.
