Comparing averages of men vs women. This OKC poll is obviously the same type of thing. I think you could probably test your hypothesis: There's lot of sites that allow people to rate others purely on looks (those rate my picture sites) - you could see the average rating of women vs men. Obviously - it's not a perfect study; as it's skewed by the demographic of people most likely to post a picture on a site to be rated.
