Definitely agree. Looking back on it I think I wanted to get in a fight. I think this was just a culmination of all the little shit tests and frame testing she did earlier in the week. I am sure that had I not gone in ready for a long drawn out fight in the mud trying to nail down exactly what was wrong and keeping her argument focused on one or two major points. It would have probably not ended with such a favorable outcome. It shouldn't have even got to that point but in war sometimes you just…

In my area which is High Cost of Living. One month of Child Care at one of those facilities mentioned is in the 2-3k a month range similar in price to the D.C region. They are also not strictly Catholic reasons. Look all over the world through different cultures, religions, and countries and you will see that traditionally the women stay home to cook, clean, tend house and raise children The sheer cost of living in these places essentially forces both individuals to work. I think a wife with a p…

I have to also agree with /u/scurvemuch though maybe in a less harsh way. Where basically all wants are ego driven. I want to get as big as Arnold. Because I want the ego boost of attention. I want to play cello because the satisfaction of making music from essentially a box and a horsehair rod. I want to be better at my career because I will make more money and be respected more by my peers. I want to be a good father figure and community role model because my ego is stroked by people coming to…

As /u/RubyWooToo stated you are making a lot of big changes. One of the biggest issues I have found with newbies swalloing the red pill is the knee jerk reactions they want to make immediate life sweeping changes that will alienate all those around you and will be hard to maintain. You are basically like a fad dueter. After years of eating bad and not caring you one day wake up look at yourself in the mirror and hate what you have become so you throw out all the junk food go to the gym but you s…

You can be confident, feminine, and playful. The key is to also neg him but not be such a dick about it. Poke holes in his game as follows. Him: You seem like such a follower. You: Maybe if I am led properly but Im not sure you are up for it. Him: You should have worn the black ones. You: Me and the girls would love to take you to the mall with us next time...A guys opinion would be great!!! Him: Hook up my feeding tube? You: I'm no Doctor but all this talking is making me think your jaw works f…

So then if you have made your mind up already tell them that. Flat out. Look Barry I think you are sweet and all but I am busy in school or work is just really hectic right now. But here is your main issue as I see it. None of these guys give you the tingles. If there was a big confident gorgeous confident man coming in and making jokes and making you swoon, you wouldn't have any of these issues. Deep down I don't think you are attracted to them but you just like to have them around just in case…

Well in that case. I would just be honest and say I am sorry not interested. Or the old I have a boyfriend routine. You will always get guys who won't take the obvious hint. I personally look at it like a game as guys are in the catch 22 of girls won't outright tell them they are interested at the same time always going on about how they wish guys would just pursue a little harder. So just tell them you are not interested and be firm. Or if they really don't leave you alone then you may need to …

Betas are needed and being a beta isn't intrinsically bad at least as the red pill network would have you believe. I am alpha in my home and in my office, but to my parents and grandparents I am still seen as a baby in diapers. Beta When my boss tells me to do something I will state my views but I still have to do it. Beta I have said this before. Humans cannot be truely Alpha. Our social structures are far too complex. Even when it comes to a marriage there has to be Beta qualities in the male …

Well flirting is kind of like an appetizer to me. How am I supposed to guage sexual interest or your personality if when I flirt. I am met with a cold shoulder or indifference. The best bet is to lightly flirt back. As with anything moderation is key. You don't want to seem too desperate or too cold. Just think of flirting as a opening line of a song. It has to be catchy enough to work but not too jarring to turn you off. If you give examples I can help you out a little bit but the only way to g…

Reading this it seems like you need more of a purple pill man. Which is fitting as I think those are the kind most suitable for marriage and when women say they want an LTR with a Red Pill man they actually mean Purple. My advice to you would be to stop focusing on the dreaded 'Wall' if you are looking for more of a long-term thing. That in my belief is more for the party girls who think their vagina will never sour and at 33 they are as high worth as 18 to worry about. Women on this sub in my o…

How old are you if you don't mind me asking and how old are the men you typically find yourself attracted to? For me I was the same way, I used to just juggle woman and for every one dropped I would pick another up until one day all of a sudden it was like this switch got flipped in my brain and I was ready. Whether it was the right girl (which is what the blue pill side thinks) or just the right time (which is what the red pill side thinks) doesn't really matter. Without seeing a picture of you…

As a man and only knowing what you are telling us. I would take a guess at maybe you subconciously being too desperate and it is apparent to the men. Attraction is a game and it needs to be fun. You need to play hard to get and the men need to chase you. You need to cause them to do nothing but think about you. They are at work and all the sudden they are daydreaming trying to figure out if you lightly touched their shoulder because you are interested or if you merely didn't want them to back up…

It all really depends. I think about 15-20 buy if they all happened in the last year well that would raise a couple red flags. Likewise if a woman was married since high school then had a string of 10 in a year or two I don't think I would mind as much.

I'd like to take a crack at this from the opposite side of the gender divide. You are a virgin and you decide that you want to have sex but instead of just one you want all the dicks. That is fine but there are some things you may not be taking into account past the idealistic wanting to gain the experience. Guys don't care much for easy lays. They will take advantage of them but that sets the expectations for the relationship low. They call or text then you bang. So it will most likely never mo…

I agree with RedRooster that the three date rule presupposes alot of communication that many males (myself included) like to look at as a challenge. Technology has blurred the lines between what is and isn't a date. If you both have been chatting on Skype every night for the last week the guy is showing commitment beyond the bare minimum and I believe that counts for something. My SO and I were Skype dating for 4 months casually before I wanted to date her and another 3 months before I got to se…

My wife and I(together for 5 years in March) got married when I was a student and she was fresh from being back in United States. When we got married we didn't have a metaphorical pot to piss in. But she always used a phrase that her Aunt told her about men. "BUY LOW BUT SELL HIGH' I like to think that she treated me like a stock. She did her research saw the opportunity for growth and that I exhibited great potential as a mate and a provider and pulled the trigger. I did the same although I wou…

There may lie the problem. It seems that many people think of them as the final nail in the coffin and once you hammer it down you are the boss and she will never test you again. But like many of the stories you hear on here from the partials where they were alpha at the start and then beta painted themselves in the corner as the relationship wore on. That same thing will happen if they lull themselves into a false sense of security after the Main Event. If they even hold frame throughout it and…

To broaden on Caladhan's point. It is hard to give you unique advice since I know nothing of you or your wife's dynamic outside of this limited post but here is my take. It sounds like you did good through the workout shit tests and letting your wife sleep on the couch. I do this to my wife from time to time as if she is willing to go the nuclear route and cut off her nose to spite her face I let her. This helps enforce our relationship dynamic and shows her that if she is is going to threaten s…

Look read the sidebar first. I know that seems as kind of cop out to you but honestly you are looking for a quick fix. Chew on this for a second; Think if your main goal in life was to be an astronaut. Sure it seems cool but it is a lot of fucking hard work. You have to study graduate with a STEM degree, typically have military experience, do some crazy ass training, and yet be psychologically ready to die/ live in a confined space for months to a year. What your attitude is coming off like is t…

Ok I am going to ask a few questions as well. 1.) Why do you say people with your level of experience should be making half again as much? If you were your employer and I came to you and demanded a 50% increase, would you just give it to me. You need to demonstrate your value. Leaving your company is the only way to solve your problem. Demonstrate your abundance mentality. If you are so underpaid get another job. This solves your problem of the salary and if they keep putting out sub quality wor…

Spring has sprung. The birds are singing the young nubile girls are out in their barely there clothes letting the sun kiss their supple skin. And here we are full of semen wanting to spread it far and wide and some of us are being held back by a commitment we made years ago that now we regret because she doesn't want us to get it. I get it from the guys but maybe take your lady out for a walk. Parade her to see. Maybe start pinching her ass put up with the shit test and just enjoy the season. Ch…

There was an interesting thread a couple days to a week ago where the main posters kind of categorized each other and how they give the flair. It basically put WhineMorePlease and others in the role of Heavy or the Third Hat(Drill Instructor USMC) where he berates everything you do and doesn't give a shit about individual situations just calls you a pussy and everything is your fault. But he treats everyone equally and if they read the sidebar and lifted, took responsibility for everything wrong…

Focus. First. On. Yourself. I feel like every man has a fictional character or real life hero they admire. Ask yourself what would they do. What would James Bond do in your situation or John Wayne do. While they probably wouldn't have ended up in your situation do you think they would go to counciling? That essentially screams that you have already lost the war. What will talking about things do. From what it sounds like you have already talked about your issues enough. You need action. Now you …

I have considered it as I hardly go on(Reddit is my main time sink) but it is the most convenient way for me to keep in contact with old friends and my wife's family in Brazil(although Whatsapp does the lions share of this as they treat it like facebook) and since I rarely post I consider it a necessary evil. Still as another poster said posting anything on there is stupid especially when looking at it almost everything posted is a time waster or a ego shouting out to be admired.

That is a good point. As a man I find our decisions are more logic based than women's. We base our arguments on facts whereas most of their arguments are based on how they feel. I tend to just assume because I am a man I am right because logic always trumps emotion but recognizing that ego is man's version of thinking with emotion is an important thing to remember.

Yes it is. This comment made me self-reflect and I realized how often it creeps up on you and you don't even notice. It is definitely interesting when you look at it from the perspective of how many other times has it gotten in the way of things in the past that you didn't even realize? How often has trying to soothe your ego made you lose face in front of others at work, girls, for yourself?

To clarify to me at that point there did only seem like two decisions. I only remembered we talked about it two or three weeks previously and agreed after she texted with the shit test and reminded me. So at that point it was a binary decision of either keep it up or take it down and the longer I sat with my thumb in my ass the greater the chance she would be in the line of fire with her family. My first mistake was agreeing to a hard and fast I WON'T DO IT EVER! I should always allow space to p…

Yeah for me it was a lose lose at that point. I fucked up by making a promise I couldnt keep but I salvaged the situation by telling her she is right(she was), keeping her trust in me that I run things, and not apologizing which I don't do unless I massively and I mean massively fuck up.

Nothing you said is untrue. Definitely the biggest thought in my mind at the time was, "Shit I did promise that. Then was the internal struggle between my pride saying "I'm a goddamn man I do what I want"; and my rational mind understanding that I made a promise and even if it was forgotten at that moment that doesn't excuse me from not keeping it. So I then played out the two scenarios in my mind fighting with my wife would be childish because she rightfully shit tested me when I fucked up endi…

Are you serious? $500 is worth it when compared to a B&E charge, and assault with a deadly weapon?!? What if the guy has a gun and shoots the OP. Smart. What is beta is thinking that in order to be "Alpha" is you gotta do dumb shit to prove you are a badass. OP willingly lent the money and got fucked over. That is called an expense of doing business. Just like paying for fuel for your car. You are nothing more than a keyboard gangster have you ever actually been in a fight much less ran down a g…
