I think it’s same thing as birth rate. If you don’t want kids, perfect! Don’t force anyone to have kids. But a lack of kids and a declining population will cause problems down the line.

You’re misinterpreting the problem here. It’s not the risk of pregnancy, but the consequences. Women biologically want a man to support them through the pregnancy and raising of kids, not impregnate them and run off.

I mean yes. I work at a big tech firm. It’s like 70% men in my building. Of course when you go to HR it’s mostly women.

I guess I would fall into this category but my motivations are not from misogyny. We currently share chores probably close to 70/30 but the cooking is split 50/50 and joint finances are split 66-33. It works for now but... Childcare is way too expensive and our parents are not retired, so we don't have a village to help raise children. I'm very career focused while my wife is not, and as a result I earn about 5x what she does. The most sensible financial decision is for her to resign when we do …

Not OP but a common trope is when in an argument, the man says “I feel X because you did Y” and the counter is immediately “well I feel Z have you considered that at all?”. Now that just completely shifts the focus from X and Y. The more this happens, men just stop bringing X up. The response I would like would be “let’s talk about X”, not changing the subject and shifting it away as early as possible.

Ok I definitely missed that part my bad. I would say my point still stands though. Yes it's definitely going to be harder as an experienced 30 year old. Overall yes, you won't get physically more appealing as you age. But you'll have more money and hence the resources to be a more complete package. I also think a lot of the reason men get physically less appealing as they age is because they're in a stable relationship - they no longer feel the need to keep their appearance up, resulting in beer…

We have different underlying assumptions here. You're thinking middle aged while I'm thinking 30-35 ish. You're also presuming no sexual experience, nowhere did I imply that. I'm defining late-bloomers as someone who might've had a few flings here and there, maybe one relationship, but at the time was nowhere mature enough. My assumption here predicates on the man becoming more mature emotionally, becoming successful and more physically appealing in their 30s when compared to when they were 24. …

We're on the same page. In real life I've seen many such examples to the point that I just think it's normal. Especially once you hit ~30, it's so natural that I don't even bat an eye. And this is far more common in other East Asian countries. Because of their patriarchal nature, plenty of men are sheltered from a very young age, causing them to be late-bloomers. Women frequently date older men because of that exact reason.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/10/25 07:35 PM

Yes I agree completely. I think the man is overreacting as he's a hypocrite (most likely).
/r/PurplePillDebate26/10/25 07:26 PM

Ah I misunderstood. My point is that young people just want to be perceived as more idealistic but are actually the same underneath.

You sure they're not just wearing a wig?
/r/PurplePillDebate26/10/25 06:51 PM

I'm not understanding your point here, could you expound on that?

Why would a late-bloomer man go for women in their age group if they are emotionally and mentally a 24 year old? Why wouldn't he just go for 24 year old women?
/r/PurplePillDebate26/10/25 06:44 PM

That post is hella bait, they purposefully didn't include the fact that it was a woman that did this in the text, only in the picture. In other news outlets they title has woman specified.

The worst thing about this is that he would have not been bothered if he had the option to fuck a different girl after their date.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/10/25 06:18 PM

It's dumb as help. You wouldn't do that if you actually trusted them.

The true redpill is that most women don't hate the patriarchy. They want all the benefits of the patriarchy without any of the negatives. When I say most here I mean most women in the world, not just your friendship circle (not targeted at you, it's targeted at anyone who wants to refute this). I'd even go a step further and say most women are not feminists. Also, most women want to be a housewife.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/10/25 06:00 PM

I mean hetero marriage and childbirth requires both a man and a woman, so really you need the statistics of women who want to be married and have a child but don't have a partner to do so.

Now, men need to remove this imposed sexual burden entirely, but we must do so by targeting the brain system, not hormones. What do you think exactly happens in the brain, other than producing hormones, that make men horny?

Use this tool to see how many women meet your expectations. https://www.keeper.ai/calc Then fill in your own details to see how likely they are to have expectations for someone like you.

There is some truth to this. Correct me if I'm wrong, but you're just getting at the phase where men just say "fuck it" to everything and do whatever they want right? And with that phase, they learn a lot about what they want in life and who they want to be in life. Makes sense to me. So that's one of the real reason you see these men getting together with women, maybe 8 years younger, sometimes. Not because of a fetishistic obsession with youth, but because the wants and expectations align. But…

I think you may be someone who's purely attracted to aesthetics then. No judgement, everyone's different. But I laid out the perspective of the general population. I'll just add one point in your rebuttal though: She's not attracted to him, she just wants his money. People are attracted to money all the time. But it's not cut dry and clear like that. The money is his, and by extension a part of him. Like for example when you think of Elon Musk, you think of money, his money. That money is part o…

Good man. Good luck to you. Us physics grads have to stick together. Word of advice, unless you hate it in your guts, go finance. You’ll work hard but it’ll pay off.

I know I'm late, but after reading most of the comments I think you're genuinely struggling to understand this concept. I'll try to be as precise and explanative as possible. Don't purely focus on "physical" attraction. Plenty of physically attractive people let themselves go after getting married, and continue to have sex throughout. You need to also consider that the emotional part is a very important factor. You need to consider the overall attractiveness. That includes physical, emotional, f…

Yeah idk about the rest of your post but this I want a wife who’s intelligent (ideally we’d both be researchers) Research doesn't pay. If you want to support a woman properly go into another field. This is coming from someone whose parents are both researchers at literally two of the best universities in the world. I'm earning more than their combined salary as a SWE in my mid-late 20s. My missus and I are looking at her retiring in the next 2-3 years and full time taking care of our future kid(…

Haha you must've not met my ex. It helps if you're from a rich family who has a cook/ can afford to eat out daily and have cleaners come around everyday.

True redpill of this is Male-Male sex work is not that frowned upon, because lots of more conservative people's brain struggle to comprehend gay sex anyway and liberal people don't care about prostitution. You definitely get judgement from heterosexual sex work, regardless of if you're the man or the woman.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/10/25 06:39 AM

Agreed. This is why you seen famous male celebrities stay bachelors well into their 50s or even 60s. Maybe they were married at one point, but at some point they realise they can get it pretty much anytime they want, why give away half their shit at the end?

I think your conclusion is correct, but the reason is wrong. Men look for caregivers. Taking care of his dick is very often the top priority. But if you can't cook, clean, take care of the kids e.t.c. just the sex is not enough. This is why plenty of men leave their wives for younger women who are willing to have more sex, but then leave them too when they realise the new woman can't cook or clean. I think as a (western) society we just one day decided that we were better than this, and the way …
