Feminists are now amongst the most obnoxious bigots.”While you are technically correct this is not how any body actually votes. Due to the way the election system works (I.e Most seats wins power) you are pretty much forced to vote in favour of an mp that is running for the party you want in power, which is an unfortunate case and note really the best system. | /r/MensRights | 27/05/19 11:55 AM |

My Mother refuses to vote anything but Conservative because her parents voted Conservative and she will until the day she dies. She actively hates Labour and has been known to slam the door in the face of our local mp when they campaign - it's actually embarrassing. I mean I wouldn't vote Labour in the GE's in their current state either but I have an open mind and would if they aligned with me politically. | /r/MensRights | 27/05/19 05:31 AM |

You can pay to join the party to have your say on the leader of said party but during an election the leaders are already chosen. Normally it doesn't usually matter but since the Tories have fucked up so much recently and have gone through two leaders during their time in power people are flocking to join so that they can influence the leadership. Just to clear it up though it's not poll tax - we aren't charged a levy to vote. | /r/MensRights | 27/05/19 05:17 AM |
