| -5 | I want to be a dad. I can see my dream crashing. This whole reddit crap is people tip toeing around for points. It's fake and a cry for attention. | /r/Divorce_Men | 18/03/24 04:33 AM |
I want to be a dad. I can see my dream crashing. This post is so childish and stupid. When he does better I will. Kids aren't little pieces to his puzzle. | /r/Divorce_Men | 18/03/24 04:32 AM
| -6 | I want to be a dad. I can see my dream crashing. You do understand that you can get any women pregnant until your like 60 right? Maybe you should have focused on having a wife instead of just trying to multiply more idiots like yourself. | /r/Divorce_Men | 18/03/24 04:19 AM |
What is the worst thing your ex ever did to you?You sound abusive and like a peice of crap just based off this post. That's coming from a real man. | /r/Divorce_Men | 18/03/24 04:17 AM
| -3 | What is the worst thing your ex ever did to you?She called me out for being an idiot when I was being an idiot. This page has turned into a joke. If she felt the need to record you and that's the worse thing she ever did, Maybe your the problem. | /r/Divorce_Men | 18/03/24 04:16 AM |
How do I move on after divorcing my wife because she likes women now?Alot of how your feeling is stemming from the feeling of rejection you have. Hearing someone you've known for over a decade throw something like that out left field makes you question everything you thought you knew. You weren't happy for a long time and it sounds like you made your mind up to settle with her. She took your power when she dropped that bomb on your lap. That's a tough pill to swallow. Over the last 10 years gay life style has been glamorized to the point that I really think alot … | /r/Divorce_Men | 13/03/24 07:14 PM

LonelyNot true. I was the step father of my first wife and she tried that during our divorce. My lawyer laughed. That's not a thing unless you legally adopt. | /r/Divorce_Men | 01/03/24 03:10 PM

LonelyIt's still really fresh. Focus on your daughter, yourself, and money. Give yourself more time and more importantly more grace. I've read that narcissist literally cause brain damage to their victims. You've been in fight or flight mode for years and the damage that's been done isn't going to fix itself over night, just because she's gone. Enjoy the peace you have now and trust the process. | /r/Divorce_Men | 01/03/24 02:00 AM

Wife confessed to affairGet legal advice before moving out of the marital home. What she says now and what she will end up doing in divorce will be 2 very different things if you scroll through alot of these post. Be sure to keep the upper hand and protect yourself. | /r/Divorce_Men | 21/02/24 07:47 PM
| -1 | I'm glad I took the high road.I don't like generalizing a whole group of people as a whole. Not all women or men are the same for a blanket statement like this. | /r/Divorce_Men | 20/02/24 01:50 AM |
Dating App DeliriumIf she finds out you're on them and breaks up with you, would you mind? Might want to consider because I'm sure it will come to that. | /r/Divorce_Men | 19/02/24 09:45 PM
You should be grateful your child sees another man as a dad/father-figureCall me old school. I don't think people that divorce with young children should introduce their kids to anyone until their kids are 18, let alone remarry. I think it's selfish and their focus should be on their kids that didn't ask for any of this. Alot will disagree with me but their reasoning for disagreeing will always be self serving and not have the best interest of the children at heart. | /r/Divorce_Men | 19/02/24 07:59 PM
Therapist said something that truly struck home todayMy first divorce hit me hard. I think it was more that I felt like I failed and made a terrible mistake in who I chose to marry that got to me. I had to learn to separate those feelings from the women that walked away. How I was feeling really wasn't about her as a person, it was more guilt that I married wrong. We marry because we want a companion for life and when it goes wrong we have to mourn the marital dream. Hope that makes sense. | /r/Divorce_Men | 19/02/24 07:53 PM
I'm glad I took the high road.No self respect and selfish mindsets. It's so important to take a hard look at the mother of the women you're dating. It usually will give you some insight of what you can expect later on. | /r/Divorce_Men | 19/02/24 07:47 PM
I'm glad I took the high road.I would never forgive after infidelity but I got more from this post than what I'm seeing in alot of these comments. Women forgive men for cheating all the time and nobody bats an eye. You tried to make it work out of respect for your children. Correct me if I'm wrong but I don't think it was about her. The way you handled your situation worked for you and I can respect a man that doesn't act out of emotion. She lost a good man and I bet you sleep well at night. | /r/Divorce_Men | 19/02/24 07:44 PM
I'm glad I took the high road.I think the way you handled things showed an immense display of self respect AND respect for your children. It takes more strength to do what you did, taking the high road, than it does being an angry and emotional jack ass. Cheers to you. | /r/Divorce_Men | 19/02/24 07:39 PM
I’m sick of myselfA healed women would have had you at the party. She would have been mature about it and put the kids first. | /r/Divorce_Men | 18/02/24 11:31 PM
Men that have gotten out of divorce and are successful, please share some guidanceI'm not sure what Hone is. Is it an online doctor program? Those can be expensive and scammy. They have some great forums on here that can steer you in the right direction. Body building forums are full of guys that take T and they have some very helpful insight. I made friends with the guys at the gym that I knew weren't in such great shape naturally. They love talking about this stuff lol. They told me where I can order and I did a ton of research. | /r/Divorce_Men | 17/02/24 08:00 PM
I’m sick of myselfI'll never understand women like this. Continue to focus on your own healing. She skipped that step entirely and is doing damage to the kids that she can never un-do. This new relationship will NEVER work out. Remind yourself that and take it one day at a time. Set a good example for your children and remain consistent in your progress. I promise you it will be more rewarding than you can imagine in this moment. | /r/Divorce_Men | 17/02/24 07:46 PM
She wants everythingShe can ask for whatever she wants, that doesn't mean she gets it. She's shooting for the stars and hoping to land on the moon. This should be a reminder of the type of person she is. | /r/Divorce_Men | 17/02/24 07:42 PM
Men that have gotten out of divorce and are successful, please share some guidanceI can't even begin to tell you how much better I feel. It's funny because my doctor was really quick to suggest antidepressants but acted like Testosterone was a big deal. I tried the antidepressants for a few months and felt HORRIBLE. I quit that crap and started the T. Night and day. I feel like myself again. | /r/Divorce_Men | 15/02/24 02:03 AM
Men that have gotten out of divorce and are successful, please share some guidanceThe scale the doctors use is a joke. Everybody is different. I would go to an actual men's clinic if you want to go the legit route. Explain how your feeling and go from there. These sound like hall mark examples of what happens when testosterone dips. I order mine from a reputable site and do a low dose on my own. My doctor said I was fine and I was right on the border of being low. | /r/Divorce_Men | 09/02/24 11:49 PM
Ex is depressed and wants to die 2yrs out from the divorceOdd that you literally put 100% of the blame on him as to why you divorced and those reasons screamed depression to me. I'm certain you played a role as well but stay toxic. | /r/Divorce_Men | 09/02/24 11:45 PM

Married a dentist full of ego and I am a software engineer who makes almost same as her. I can’t take anymore of this verbal, mental and physical abuse.Start quietly planning your escape and gathering evidence against her. Open a credit card with a nice line of credit to pay for a good lawyer. Do that immediately so they can helo you start building your case. Start stashing cash so there's no paper trail (cash back at the grocery store and things like that). Record her when she is abusive and keep a log. If she makes more than you that will actually work out in your favor in a divorce. You're in an abusive relationship and you need to protect y… | /r/Divorce_Men | 05/02/24 03:34 PM

Not sure if divorce is the right moveI also want to add that she needs to meet you half way. You can out in the effort but if she doesn't reciprocate it'll be for nothing. You're not a door mat. Make sure she knows how unhappy you are so you guys can work together. | /r/Divorce_Men | 05/02/24 03:13 PM
Not sure if divorce is the right moveWe don't have any family near by so it's always been hard for us to find sitters. If you have a similar situation you can improvise. Put the kids to bed for her and tell her to go get comfortable and watch a movie together, feed the kids first and have a nice dinner alone just the two of you, etc. Put some thought into how you guys spend your time together and see how that goes. Good luck man. I know the negativity is draining. | /r/Divorce_Men | 05/02/24 03:11 PM
Not sure if divorce is the right moveI would tell her exactly what you just said here. Tell her she needs to get therapy and she's ruining your marriage. Give her the opportunity to work on herself before mentioning the D word. Make sure she knows how unhappy you are. Do you guys do date nights and do things together out of the home and away from the baby? That's really important too. Almost destroyed my marriage and were trying to work on things. | /r/Divorce_Men | 05/02/24 03:36 AM
NarcissismI'm so sick of the "N" word. If you're questioning if you're a narcissist, I can almost guarantee you you're not. | /r/Divorce_Men | 03/02/24 06:00 PM

For Those that did ALL the houseworkWild. I kinda feel guilty now lol. | /r/Divorce_Men | 30/01/24 04:58 AM
For Those that did ALL the houseworkI think alot of it boils down to a lack of respect for the vows made, laziness, lack of respect for masculinity, lack of respect for one's self, and even a lack of respect as to how decisions impact the kids involved. Upbringing in a women is important too. Women have become selfish. My wife listens to a show on satellite radio ran by Dr. Laura. She wrote a book called "The proper care and Feeding of Husbands ". My wife read it recently and she said alarm bells went off in her head. She said it … | /r/Divorce_Men | 30/01/24 02:35 AM
For Those that did ALL the houseworkShe's 36 and I'm 40. She runs our office so she contributes financially in that sense but I'd say my role is provider and hers has been everything else. That's how it should be in my opinion. I don't understand why a SAHM would be home if she's not doing anything. | /r/Divorce_Men | 29/01/24 09:17 PM
For Those that did ALL the houseworkThese comments are a trip. You guys can thank the feminist movement, worse thing to ever happen to women. | /r/Divorce_Men | 29/01/24 07:02 PM
For Those that did ALL the houseworkMy wife and I recently discussed divorce but decided to take a step back and work on things. I will say during our whole relationship I haven't had to lift a finger at home. If you ask her that is probably her biggest issue but in my defense she has always just done it all and literally never asked for help. She will google how to repair things and get the tools out even. I'm reading all these comments and I'm surprised to be honest. Is that's what's out there these days? You guys are doing ever… | /r/Divorce_Men | 29/01/24 06:57 PM

ConfessionSet up a voice activated recorder in her car or in the house. Too far? Maybe. I think she went further. | /r/Divorce_Men | 21/01/24 10:14 PM
Will I lose half my business?I get that but she could argue the same. All she would need to do is hire a salesman. She honestly could probably manage a whole project on her own. | /r/Divorce_Men | 21/01/24 02:20 PM
Will I lose half my business?Thank-you. I will definitely take that into account. She's never been violent or cheated and she's drop dead gorgeous so that doesnt hurt. Good mom, keeps the house clean, and runs our office. We're just stuck in roommate mode and have been the last couple of years. The business has taken alot out of us. | /r/Divorce_Men | 18/01/24 03:25 AM
Will I lose half my business? It's the money in the business accounts that I'm worried about. She wouldn't actually want the business. | /r/Divorce_Men | 18/01/24 03:05 AM
Will I lose half my business?I will. Just putting feelers out there. I'm almost willing to work on it if that means I won't have to give her half of what we have in the business accounts. | /r/Divorce_Men | 17/01/24 10:08 PM
Will I lose half my business? Not what I wanted to hear but Thank-you. I'm guessing the amount in the business accounts will be split down the middle, correct? | /r/Divorce_Men | 17/01/24 10:07 PM

Help!!! I have hard time to pick up my daughterThis is terrible advice. She's 4. I wouldn't be worried about showing her who makes the rules right now. Just make it fun and be the Disneyland dad until things die down and she feels safe again. Divorce is hard on kids. | /r/Divorce_Men | 11/01/24 05:25 AM
Do you ever get lonely, and start missing / thinking it wasn't as bad as it was?I do that often. We signed 6 months ago. I've come to realize that alot of our issues were things I could have resolved had I taken an honest look at myself. I see her now and she looks light and happy. Not the nagging wife I dreaded coming home to. If I could go back in time I honestly would. The things she wanted from me weren't far fetched. Get off the phone at dinner, separate from work on the weekends, help out with the kids and house, etc. In hindsight I have alot of regrets. | /r/Divorce_Men | 10/01/24 10:04 PM
