2	Why do the responsible ones end up paying? I was that woman who worked her ass off. Because my ex decided he didn’t have to. He didn’t really take care of the kids or care for the home. 3	Random divorce paperwork question (pro-se), as I am sure you guys went through this. You can make up numbers. They won’t even really pay attention to all that. Lawyers will go after your paystubs and bank statements. That’s all they care about. I just went through this and my lazy, entitled husband, who never worked, got half of everything. And never paid me back all the money I had to pay for his financial irresponsibility while we were married. Good luck.
