Married for 10 years and confronted four times in the last two months when I found my wife cheating. I don't know. She doesn't like you and treats you like a POS. She has no love for you. You need to pack up and go. Single women in their forties are crazy horny, so get ready to get worn out. Good days ahead. | /r/Divorce_Men | 18/07/26 01:11 PM

Social media has destroyed everything in this worldRight now it seems guys respond to guys with ,"sorry to hear that" and girls respond to girls with "congrats, you go girl.". Almost like divorce is a badge of honor for women. That said, it's fine for each sex to offer support as needed. Nobody wins. It's no competition. Don't worry about how women are dealing with it and just focus on yourself. | /r/Divorce_Men | 18/02/26 10:32 PM
When did it feel right to start dating & having sex again?I waited two years before dating. Eventually you'll meet another woman that you fall in love with and want to spend the rest of your life with her, every single day. Make sure you fully enjoy this time you have alone. | /r/Divorce_Men | 04/02/26 12:55 AM
Should I move 1 block away from my ex-wife for easier co-parenting?Distance is what keeps people civil. Don't risk it. I'm 15 min away and it works just fine. | /r/Divorce_Men | 05/12/23 06:45 PM
Advice on sex after divorceYou'll be completely fine. I was recently in the same boat. Ended up going to a work conference out of state, and getting away from home helped me feel like my old self again. Ended up having a one night stand out there with a lady on Tinder. I was also worried about how awkward it was going to be, especially being far out of my prime, but it's like riding a ... bike. And it was completely liberating. Felt ready to conquer the world again. Getting out of town and away from the bad mojo to get th… | /r/Divorce_Men | 03/12/23 03:11 AM
I am open to having another child...Still plenty of kids out there that would love to have you. Ever consider this route? https://www.bbbs.org/ | /r/Divorce_Men | 01/09/22 06:49 PM
Thinking of moving away from where my son livesIt's tough being near the"scene of the crime" and I often look forward to moving away. But all my dreams in that direction start when my daughter is off to college. Until then, I'll suck it up and enjoy every moment off seeing her grow up that I can. | /r/Divorce_Men | 01/09/22 01:00 AM
I so very much don't want to be here.I know exactly where you're at and I'm sorry. It's a tough place to be. The divorce road is also difficult and takes time and hard work to get over. One of the things that helps me is that I pushed for us to get counseling together and I went all in on it. Although it ultimately failed (badly), I feel better knowing that I tried what I could to look for a path to make it work. It also helped me see how little my ex was invested. If you ultimately decide to get divorced, know that each day feels … | /r/Divorce_Men | 30/08/22 08:10 PM
I want 70% custody of my son. My soon to be ex wife says, that “I’m competing.” Am I wrong for wanting to spend more time with my son?Whatever is best for the child. In my case. It was 50/50 and sending games with my daughter to her mom's house until my ex figured out how to interact with her daughter without help. My daughter needs both of us 50/50 in her life so I pushed for that. (Really 100/100, but this is where it's at) | /r/Divorce_Men | 29/08/22 04:16 PM
My heart breaks for my kids.As long as he doesn't hate his mom's house, he's good. My daughter actually likes having two houses even though I keep expecting the worst. Unfortunately divorce is so common that kids won't treat it as odd if you don't. Just try to have a good working relationship with the mother in front of him so he doesn't see it as one house vs the other. Sounds like you're doing great though! Keep it going. | /r/Divorce_Men | 19/09/20 11:20 AM
Music HelpsGood call. I just have to avoid certain songs, and all Country music. (Although that last part may occur regardless). | /r/Divorce_Men | 11/09/20 05:36 PM
