One of the things that helps me is that I pushed for us to get counseling together and I went all in on it. 4	I want 70% custody of my son. My soon to be ex wife says, that “I’m competing.” Am I wrong for wanting to spend more time with my son? Whatever is best for the child. In my case. It was 50/50 and sending games with my daughter to her mom's house until my ex figured out how to interact with her daughter without help. 9	My heart breaks for my kids. As long as he doesn't hate his mom's house, he's good. My daughter actually likes having two houses even though I keep expecting the worst. Unfortunately divorce is so common that kids won't treat it as odd if you don't. Just try to have a good working relationship with the mother in front of him so he doesn't see it as one house vs the other. Sounds like you're doing great though!
