I was speaking of in the US because that’s what we’re talking about here. Gun laws in the US don’t work like they do in Europe because….everybody’s already fuckin got guns lol. There’s so many out there. But yes, I can see the iron of gun free zones. I hope you too can see the irony of gun free zones being the places that mass shootings almost always happen, and that the places with the strictest gun laws are also home to the worst gun crimes

Again, it depends on where they are. Those stats also dont seem to take into account overtime, which almost all (paid) firefighters take advantage of. I have literally never met a firefighter that makes less than $80,000 a year, and ive asked around a LOT because I once considered making it my own career. Im not talking about any racial or sex based privilege.

I dont want to say for sure because again, I dont know for sure but I remember every time it was talked about hearing 100% disability thrown around. I know he got shrapnel in one of his eyes, blew out both his ear drums, was shot through his shoulder (and other places but shoulder was the worst), has permanent knee/back problems, and theres a few other things that I cant remember. Thank you! I thought it was but I wasnt 100% sure. I dont have an exact number on how much he makes from disability from injuries but I guess its pretty substantial. I remember he'd almost always come back from a tour with something new. Grateful he always made it back though.

He was a mustang officer. Worked his way all the way up from private to brigadier general over his 33 year career. Served multiple tours overseas and sustained more than a few Injuries in doing so. I’m honestly not 100% sure how it all works but from what i understand he’s making half his salary for the rest of his life just for being in for so long and being a high rank then he’s ALSO making (what equates to) half his salary from compensation from his injuries

Right up to finding out the kid wasnt his on her 18th birthday. He didnt get a cent back.
