Of course he’s not right, the problem is that what he’s saying is supported by society’s current views

The thing is that he’s not wrong. That’s how society treats us and will continue to treat us.

Says a lot when your strongest bargaining chip is allowing men to sleep with you. I don’t believe many men would threaten the same thing were they in a similar position.

Reminder that kids brought guns to school until the 70’s (or 80’s can’t remember), and we only had very few incidents before 1990. Evidently the US has a cultural problem, one which won’t be solved by trying to take guns away.

You would still have to carry heavy gear and move a lot in a “defensive war”... there is a constant need to relocate and maneuver in a “defensive war” (whatever that is)

I disagree. I would never fight abroad if my country invaded some random middle eastern country, but if we were being invaded, I would enlist. It’s a different situation.

This is the western idea of what a divorce’s repercussions look like. The mother birthed the child (ignoring the fact that you need a father as well but whatever), so she dictates the life of the child. Even if you get visitation, she will 99% of the time have more time with the kids, and/or have the home environment. She will obviously only further any negative attitudes she has towards you by telling your children of her displeasure towards you, and they too will grow up loathing their father.…

Such a shit argument. The only reason we hear about her case and not the other thousands of infanticides is that they fucked up the trial in front of everyone, and she happened to luck out. Just like OJ.

This is spot on. I hate to bring up cultural references to make a point, but the movie Inception pointed this out very well. An idea is just a disease that the mind becomes occupied with. But for any idea beyond basic things like “don’t kill other people”, you need to form the idea from within.

I understand free porn (as bad at it is, don’t wanna get addicted to that shit), but paying a monthly fee to see pictures of a girl when there are literally billions of nude photos out there?

There’s this one ex-feminist youtuber who now does mukbangs and is extremely obese, and I think he has an OF (and makes really good money supposedly)

I feel really badly for children raised in single parent households, especially Black ones. The culture they are brought up in promotes drug use, infidelity and abusiveness towards others. I remember there was a twitter video on my feed where two young black children (think maybe 8-10 years old) we’re having a physical confrontation, and one of the children, through tears, kept saying how he was going to kill the other. You could tell by the cracks in his voice that he was trying so hard to fit …

Funny how up in arms everyone will get about FGM but will ignore circumcision, which has been done for hundreds of years, usually without choice.

I never said it’s not a struggle, just that it’s a mental illness if you believe you were born in the wrong body. Does that in of itself not imply illness? I’m not anti-trans rights or anything, I’m just pointing out that it is a mental illness and should be treated as such.
/r/MensRights03/05/19 07:33 AM

I’m not saying you should want kids, just that removing your ability to have them in hopes of appearing more like the opposite sex is obviously a sign of illness.
/r/MensRights03/05/19 07:14 AM

So removing your biological duty (reproduction) is not a sign of mental illness? Just accept it is and move on to what we should of about it. By the way a MTF transgender who is going surgical is very much removing their organs, so I don’t know why you brought that up.
/r/MensRights03/05/19 07:06 AM

I mean a normal person wouldn’t want to modify an essential organ like that to such an extent. Body dysmorphia is a mental illness because you obviously believe you were born in the wrong body and want to change it.
/r/MensRights03/05/19 06:54 AM

But it shouldn’t depress them, so you’re implying that it is a mental illness.

The problem is that music festivals should be about the music first and the social setting created by the music second, while Coachella has created a social setting first and put music in the back seat.

Based on the fact that I doubt either of us are probably stock market analysts, and the fact that stock market analysts say that Apple will hit a trillion dollars first, I guess we just have to see.

I would second you suing them, this seems like blatant misuse of HR, seeing as they did nothing to protect you. Assuming you're not trolling, I would recommend suing, but be sure to collect everything. You need 200% of the normal amount of evidence, unfortunately, so keep that in mind. Also minimize contact with your accuser, the last thing you want is for them to have anything else to hold against you. Under no circumstances should you contact your accuser. Otherwise, find a good lawyer and kee…

If the former training were to be revealed in the upcoming film, which it most likely will be, it will have come after we learned about the actual fight, something that the prequels tried, and spectacularly failed to do.

Don't know about the downvotes here, you're right, but I think you should tag the spoilers.
/r/MensRights07/01/16 02:17 AM

But it feels as if her "former training" was just something to fill a poorly-written plot hole. Besides, the audience shouldn't have to look up what the fuck happened in the space between the movies.

There were so many plot holes that I can point out, for example, when the heroine is in the massive lazer gun thing, hiding from the stormtroopers, there are no surveillance cameras watching, even though the millenium falcon, a "decades old" ship has them. Then, when "the villain" (so-called for anti-spoiler purposes) fights the heroine, he's dominating the fight. But noooooo, the girl comes back with the greatest comeback of all time! There are so many more inconsistencies.
