Worded wrong, but I very much understand her point. It is best if a child has a father figure in their life.

Basically every ad campaign is based on a lie. This subreddit is really getting upset over a stupid twitter ad. Give me a break. I subbed here to see real issues like father's and child support and family court.

They are saying women are paid less on average, but equally at audi. They didn't debunk anything

Besides the fact that he has had an odd obsession with milo over the last few days and seems like a general asshole, it isn't any worse than the other comments she has been getting. (And not many bans about those)

Then no. We won't convince each other, I think we should agree to disagree.

I'm also arguing that if they both consent and the mother refuses to abort and the father does, he shouldn't have to pay support. In my opinion, forcing rapists to pay child support is justifiable because they took away the mother's choice to have sex.

I disagree in this case.

No it isnt. If she raped someone I think the father should get custody and she pays child support. This is really just a matter of opinion on what you think should happen. Personally, I think they should pay.

He eventually gets out of jail. I think this is just really a matter of opinion on how far you think a rapists punishment should extend. Personally, I think it should extend to child support if he is going to do that.

If you're going to rape someone and they decide to keep it, imo they should pay the child support. Should of thought about ten consequences before raping someone.

Womanspace is a reporting resource for women so they put it on the leaflet. Not sexist. Also off-campus, which makes me believe the school isn't funding it.. so I don't see an issue.

Mensrights won't get banned. If they are going to ban this sub there will be massive hate because this sub isn't focused around making fun of a group of people like coontown or fph. You are over-exaggerating, they aren't planning to ban this sub (Pao said she doesn't even plan on banning coontown)

No, I find you getting angry at me for giving an alternate opinion hilarious. Police brutality/Police abuse should be dealt with as best we can and is no laughing matter.

What do you mean blind support? Just because I defended them doesn't mean I think everything they do is justified. I don't really care what your personal experience was with police officers, I said you were ignorant because your last sentence made it sound like all police officers are actively looking for a way to ruin your life in an attempt to get a promotion which is ignorant or at least twisting everything around. I never said I support police militarization, in most cases it is a pretty dum…

I agree with you, but I just want to be the "devil's advocate" here. If there was something wrong and the police left without incident and some lady ends up dying from abuse, people would be pissed. "Woman killed from domestic abuse. Reports confirm officers went to the residence, knocked and left after homeowner refused entry."

Being a police officer is an excellent profession, I have an uncle that was a Police Officer and he is an awesome dude. (He is a detective now) I have also had Police came to my house once for justifiable reasons and they were awesome in the way they handled things. If that officer wanted to he could of arrested someone but he didn't. I don't think I have ever had a bad encounter with police, and while this is obviously wrong that whole last sentence you wrote is just blatant ignorance.

We should fix it, not release everyone. We shouldn't release all murderers because some parts of the system are broken

If the system is broken then fix the system and let the innocent ones go, not release them all. We shouldn't release all murderers because That article you linked people are liars. The article linked says about 45 percent of accusations are lies. Do we let the 55 percent of actual rapists go free? That seems like a really bad idea.

He modernized the movement. And I'm not sure why I'm getting down voted, I'm simply saying feminism isn't a bad thing. If it was up to me I wish there was no MRA or feminist movement and just strive for equality. Also, I would say I support the separation of church and state but I don't know many people associated with these movements. This can be applied to feminists. (Also this comment is not totally directed at you)

So your saying its okay to vote "not guilty" no matter what? What evidence could be hidden in a rape case that could clear the defendant that wouldn't be allowed in court?

He relinquished parental rights after he refused to pay child support. His ex wife and daughters say he is abusive. His wife was raped, and he accused his wife of "wanting to be raped." When asked what he does with donation money, he answered "none of your fucking business." He said if he was ever on a trial regarding rape, he said, “Should I be called to sit on a jury for a rape trial, I vow publicly to vote not guilty, even in the face of overwhelming evidence that the charges are true,” becau…

You don't have to support the main movement to be a feminist. There is some dumb hate spewed in this sub that contributes to the problem. Look at twox, they are generally feminists and support true equality, not just favortism

Feminism is not the same for everyone. Some mainstream feminists are dumb like the founder of MRA was an asshole. (Or whoever it was) I know a few feminists and they support equal rights for everyone

Its been given well over a year to become more robust. Wikipedia doesn't need half-assed articles. I suggest you suggest in the deletion discussion that it be moved to drafts so it can be worked on. (Don't move it during the discussion though) The reddiquette says not to downvote opinions you don't agree with.

Even if I was wrong, which I don't believe I am, isn't how you are supposed to use the downvoting system. The article has very little of value on it. Whether it was started by a radical feminist (Kaldari on wikipedia seems to have started the discussion, but I don't know how you know if they are a radical feminist or not.) or some random person, it has been discussed for several days with very little being added. Some of the information is irrelevant, and the last time it was discussed about del…

You only increase the chances of deleting it by linking and telling people to voice an opinion
/r/MensRights28/02/15 10:43 PM

The comments are supposed to be about why & why not if deletion is the right move. The descriptions on the page, references, is it opinion based or factual? The comments do not discuss that, they just say how the feminists are taking away the page or something which has nothing to do with the move for deletion. This sub isn't much better, with people downvoting my posts to invalidate my opinion
/r/MensRights28/02/15 10:42 PM

I can see why they think it should be deleted. The article is short, and the last paragraph titled "Are men inherently violent?" has nothing to do with violence against men. This falls well within Wikipedia's deletion policy. An FYI aswell, everyone from reddit posting in the discussion on the page about deleting the article is breaking Wikipedia's "Sockpuppet" rule

feminism imo is protection of women's rights. MRA imo is protection of men's rights. They are the same, i'd much rather it be "Protection of Rights" for all instead of dividing it. Its also helpful to be subbed to /r/TwoXChromosomes and /r/MensRights (but not /r/Feminism ironically that place is dumb) to get the view of both sides. edit: what i'm trying to get at is feminism is different for many people. Example: Twox is the sensible version that can have an open debate while /r/feminism is the …
