Nope, you're so wrong it's funny :) If this was the case we would see the same "young and fertile" preference pattern in females that we se in males. It's universal for males to be attracted by younger females, but this is not case for most women. I doubt very much that great leaders in the history like Genghis Khan were male teenagers when they reached the peak of their power. Even among primates and other animals there's a tendency of hierarchization among males that follows age, with the olde…

So you really think the US is an open culture for age gap relationships Lol, the US is probably among the most draconian places when it comes to age gap relationships, almost all cultural incentives and laws are in place to discourage this type of relationships, it's very clear that there's a cultural component against it which certainly influences many young women to not pursue this kind of affairs in real life and only cultivate it as a fantasy despite their willingness. Also the younger gener…

I have never said that young women who are willing to date significantly older dudes are in the majority, but this also has a cultural component to it, if the current culture in WASP countries was more permissive for this kind of couples we would see them more often. Even in the US which is a country with a very prohibitive culture for age gap relationships there is data showing that about 8% of all marriages are from couples with a male age gap of 10 or more years, and 2% of marriages have an a…

Yep, this would certainly be possible, just look at Leonardo Di Caprio he only dates women in her 20s and I don't think he has much difficulty finding one, if the culture was more permissive for this kind of relationships this type of behavior would be much more common. Most of the older guys with the same status as him don't date younger girls not because they can't attract them but because they don't want their image associated with this kind of "drama", an older guy in his 30s or even 40s guy…

In your example I don't see why the young women would not feel sexually attracted to the lawyer. Why the range of sexual attraction would be so much narrower for women than it is for men, I mean an average young guy can feel sexually attracted even by a milf, but a young girl in her 20 cannot feel attracted to a guy in his 30? This doesn't make sense to me. I mean why women even like partners older than themselves if this was not imprinted in them as an evolutionary marker of sexual selection fo…

I lived in Italy for 7 years I have seem it with my own eyes, I have met a couple where the girl was 16 and the guy was 25 and her parents knew about it, and in the streets was not rare to see couples where the guy was probably in his mid 30 and the women was in her early 20s. The way the culture handles these types of relationships there, for the most part, is much more relaxed if compared to the US or other anglophone countries. I have a facebook friend from Brazil that married a guy in his 40…

I don't think this is totally accurate, I think it has more to do with modern culture frowning upon relationships were there's is a significant age gap, if all the cultural constraints were lifted we would see young women dating older guys much more frequently, maybe they would not be in the majority but the numbers would be higher than today for sure.

Your necessity to emphasize "in the slightest appealing" seems like a bit forced to me, it's difficult to believe no guy 30 or over could be attractive to you, there are literally millions of them. But in any case if it's not for you it's your right, but you don't represent all women. Besides that my point is not really about any particular woman, but about a pattern of women being attracted or open to relationships with guys significantly older than them, and as I showed there're many examples …

Yep, but the social expectations also influences what we think we want in life because we see our peers behave in a certain ways and we think this is the only right way to behave, if society puts heavy constraints in some types of relationships people in general will be much more likely to avoid this behavior even if they wanted to do it or could entertain it in pure fantasy. So you really had no opportunity to be with an older guy, you really had no opportunity to see if you really don't like t…

It's actually most social pressure, in Rome it was relatively common to see girls as young as 14 married to significantly older guys in their 30, for most of the human evolution an age gap of 15-20 years between a couple was not uncommon at all, this is proved not only by recorded culture but also by burial findings, there are many burials of couples in which the male is significantly older then the female. There is also a recent study demonstrating that humans are really predisposed to be in ag…

Rape in the military or in prison is not a gendered issue it happens to both men and women in about the same proportion, actually I think there are probably more men victimized than women.

But this is exactly my point, if he is considered the legal "father" because he has obligation to support the child financially, why can't he also be awarded the custody or at least joint custody, he was the main caregiver of the child after all, this is seems to me as one more case of pro women bias in the court or bias against stepparents.

Empathetic and righteous? The guy lost the guard but still has to pay for the child until she reaches 18, if the guy has to pay because of the social paternity why can't he be awarded the guard or at least a joint custody as well, this decision is totally unfair, a law or interpretation that allows this type of bias against step parents who want to be present in the lives of their children is completely unreasonable IMHO.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
