Degree is worth it if you’re willing and able to put in the years to become a doctor, lawyer, etc. If you’re fortunate enough to get accepted to an “elite” institution, then other, high(er) ROI options include careers in high finance (IB, PE, and so on), management consulting, and tech (software engineering for example).
