I’m not trying to antagonize you dude. After flirting with you she realized that you weren’t being genuine and pulled the rug out from under you. Women can sniff that shit out. You let her get to you way too easily.

Sounds like she was testing how you would react and you failed miserably It happens

I swear I see this same scenario posted on different subreddits from time to time. Sometimes people are super supportive like “you’re not having kids so it’s okay. Good for you!” And I’m all, I think Im gonna need a motherfuckin nap

It ain’t about you bro. This is female competitiveness

There’s no way to know for sure why, but all you can do is to work on being more confident and don’t let her know that it’s bothering you. Act indifferent when she’s around.

It’s likely she is doing that on purpose now she knows you like her. Act like you don’t care and move on.

Not a woman, but I think being confident and in control of your emotions will getcha a few brownie points.

I mean it’s not that hard. If you’re not into her just move on.

She’s either crazy and/or just playing stupid games and wasting your time. Plenty of other women out there that don’t do this if you know what I mean.

A beautiful person doesn’t need to announce to the world how beautiful they are.

Maybe you don’t get approached because you’re a narcissist

Yeah, I agree on not double texting sometimes it can make you look needy. In this case it sounds way too early for her after a breakup. You probably should have given her more time to recover b4 trying to move things forward. She’s probably not ready so don’t take it personal.

Judging by your response here your problem is probably that women find you boring. Women love guys that are fun and not afraid to tease them. You’re putting way too much emphasis on looks.

Firstly, don’t get ahead yourself thinking she’s the “one” just because you thought she felt the same. You’re setting yourself up for major disappointment. Don’t do that. Yeah, she may have reciprocated some things, but that doesn’t mean she feels the same. Women can be hard to read sometimes. Move on and don’t bother her anymore. If she initiates conversation just pretend she is a random stranger making small talk. Don’t give her a hint that you’re still bothered by it. Good luck out there!

I think in your case the guys were probably interested, but just too chicken to ask you out. Not that it will make you feel any better.

I agree with this for the most part, but I’m curious, do you think a guy with game gets more attention from women than a nice guy or vice versa?

You don’t understand a guys perspective in the dating world. I can tell you the vast majority of the guys on here have already been nice and it didn’t get them anywhere. They get desperate and resort to pickup artist nonsense. I’m not saying be mean. But as a guy you have to learn to improve yourself in a very competitive dating world. Saying just be nice doesn’t help when that’s where you started, and has gotten you nothing….

Maybe I misunderstood? It sounded like you were saying just be a nice friendly person as advice. To me that’s not helpful. I mean there’s a nice guy meme for a reason. Everyone hates those guys. Even if you’re not the stereotypical “nice guy” that expects something for being nice, you usually end up being ignored.

Well, that’s great thats what you look for, but I can tell you though with complete honesty, myself and many of the guys I know have never gotten attention with just being “nice” or “just be yourself”. The kind of lame advice you would hear on tv. I definitely don’t subscribe to negging or pick up artist crap, but I definitely had to work at changing how I interact (not manipulate) with women. So when someone says ”oh just be nice” that’s really frustrating. You end up looking boring compared to…

Not defending this method or any of these on this sub, but as a guy you’re not going to get attention by just by being “nice”.

Yeah, I will try to keep that in mind as far as handling things with her in the future. I know it’s not my fault, cause I honestly can’t imagine anything I’ve ever done would give her the idea that I’m ok with her acting that way. Well, anyway thanks for listening, I think I just needed to vent about this as there isn’t anyone in rl I can talk to this about.

She used to message me a lot, but I was becoming increasingly uncomfortable with the way she interacts with me that I pulled back significantly on texting with her. Still have to see her often, which is friggin sweet! Anyway, at a wedding for a friend, she has done the “Oh, you got dirt on you’re new suit! Let me get that for you!” and rubbed my shoulder. I didn’t say anything, but gave her a look that I was clearly not cool with that, but she doesn’t care. In fact everyone in my group doesn’t s…

Yep, this happened I swear! I honestly didn’t say anything right before, but admittedly I probably have been too harsh at times with the teasing. Honestly, I’m not interested in trying to make something happen between us, but she is so damn annoying some times I can’t help but say some shit. I seriously could write a book on all the weird interactions I’ve had with her. We’re part of the same friend group so I can’t avoid her it’s really frustrating. Really not sure why she acts the way she does…

Yeah, this is definitely a strange one. She has hit me on the arm after making fun of her before, but in this instance I was minding my own business she went to check on her phone which was on the table near me, but she made a point to walk over and step on me before she did. She had plenty of room to avoid me. Pretty strange…

So, let’s say a girl walked by and she steps on top your foot intentionally, and then follows up by slapping your arm? Does that possibly count?
