Exactly haha. Here I'm thinking, 'wait you really think holding off on sex is vile and makes you a bad person'. Alot of guys actually prefer not hooking up straight away.

As a guy, I don't buy the 'oh they are too hot' argument. I've hit on hot girls I emotionally felt were out of my league, but it's because they gave indicators of interest. They made eye contact, either repeatedly, or with a smile, or looked away quickly with a shy look. In all cases, whether conscious or not, they indicated to me they were interested. If you want guys to approach you, you have to let them know it's safe to approach. Tldr, flirt with your eyes, it's what guys look out for.

Dude I would buy your book. The whole idea of a self-concept is a really clear way of framing lots of advice I have been having in my head, but puts it in a central way that makes it all click.

Like be nervous about touching NF, so if you were going to put you arm around her you don't full commit and are nervous about it.

Honestly a good way to start is to start touching your mates more. Sounds weird but its a great way to get comfortable touching people. The same way you might touch a mate, like hugging when you greet, patting on the back, high-5's etc.. can be used with a girl, and in general you will just feel more comfortable doing it.

From my experience, if its a club/dance scene, its first eye contact + smile, + dancing around each other --> initiate extend your hand so she grabs it or hip bumping her something like that --> dancing in contact with each other. From then its just escalation of intimacy e.g. grind, dance-hugging, kissing, leading her away from the dance floor to go chat etc. Depends what you are both after, the vibe & venue etc. For a first date there's different things. First ALWAYS go for the hug when you me…

Glad to hear it man. Sounds like you have a healthy mindset and are emotionally aware. I think I'm different in that I tend to not show enough interest and find it hard to get emotionally attached to people.

is that true though? I feel like the majority of my experience with myself and friends, is the girl gets infatuated, and the guy is kinda 'meh' about it, kinda teases her along a bit and then eventually ditches her.

why is that a bad thing? The whole point of dating is to get to know the other person. I am way happier to go on a date with a girl, get to know her in person, and find out then and there that we probably are not a fit, rather than unnaturally trying to get a know a girl through a screen. To each their own, but I much rather judge a girl in person than through text.

For me it's clubs. Join a martial arts gym, dance group, board game meet up or whatever you are into.

So you're this Spider-ling? Crime-fighting spider-boy? dude im getting some really off vibes from you, im not sure whats going on. I went and watched that scene specifically, and he is half-joking, coming from father authority, but with the obvious intention of reaching out to help him. You can poke fun at people and not be in conflict. He's not going in there trying to start a fight and have a confrontation. Just after that part he sits down next to him and puts his arm on him in an affectionat…

guys trying to one-up each other are not dominant, because it reeks of insecurity and being petty.

Dominance doesn't mean being an attention seeker and going out of your way to cause conflict to try to prove you are dominant, that's the literal opposite of being alpha. Dominance means you have a mindset of control, it means you are in control of your life, of your actions, your emotions and where you are going. It means having conviction and being sure of yourself. (I like to use fictional characters) James Bond or Tony Stark don't go around picking fights to show how much of a boss they are,…
