Actually I think it's quite a common occurrence for people to blurt out their crimes. Also, I guess it doesn't have to be a direct admission. He could just say he was charged for a string of female murders, but was let go due to lack of evidence. Then make jokes about being the hotter version of Ted bundy. I mean that should really be enough of a red flag, so if he still gets girls willing to meet him....I just don't even know anymore.

Sorta has something to do with it. If the point is that he gets 0 matches on dating sites then fair enough. But you sorta lose the ability to extrapolate that to real life if he has an attractive girlfriend. That being said, she looks young so I'm sure she'll trade up soon enough. Saw it happening enough times during my teenage years to guess how these things play out.
