1	All The Best Shows I respect moderator’s decision, but this isn’t a meme, it’s a captioned image. There’s an important difference. And the image does provide value. We get constantly bombarded by the “Stupid Dad” trope on TV, so I think it’s important to point out that there are good depictions of father figures on good well written shows. It could be very encouraging for some people. 0	A Mississippi program giving low-income mothers a year of “universal basic income.” What about low-income fathers? Well that’s completely different. Guess if I had taken the time to read it instead of just assuming it was the government doing it (but can you really blame me for jumping to that conclusion) I wouldn’t look dumb. I’m all for charitable organizations doing this sort of work, that the system working correctly. But it’s true that it’ll be a cold day in hell before you see an organization doing this for men. Someone please remind them the male World Cup is watched by more people in the world that any other event. US Soaps had higher TV ratings than female WCup.
