Reading your comment, it occurred to me that there are two different reasons for something to be chosen as an axiom. If the statement is obviously true. When a statement is so obviously true, that it can't help but elicit a "No, duh!", then it is often chosen as an axiom. Examples would be modus ponens in logic and "0 is a natural number" in PA. If the implications of the statement are broad and obviously true. This is a tad bit trickier. Instead of starting with an obvious statement and from th…

Haha, you misread me. I was merely presenting the viewpoint of the hypothetical detractor who argues that "the only good parts of the Redpill are obvious". I wasn't articulating my own view on the subject.

Depends on how you define success I think a lot of our "disagreement" stems from the fact that I'm focusing on maximizing value on a purely sexual level: what traits maximize the amount of people who want to fuck you. You are talking about LTR success: what traits maximizes your chances of healthy long-term relationship. In redpill lingo, we often say that success in an LTR requires a balance of both alpha and beta traits (Alpha traits being characteristics that ensure that your partner is attra…

This is why I posit that "respect women" is classic motte-and-bailey. In liberal settings, "respect women" has a much stronger connatation: it implies a man who buys into feminism completely. However, when every anyone in specific is grilled about the statement's meaning, they respond with what you said, which is very reasonable and not very disagreeable. If you are tempted to respond "Who in the right mind would interpret it the first way?", the answer is: a lot of men. You can disparage them a…

Yes, once one realizes that some common sense is true and some common sense is bullshit, the natural question is: why? How we systemically distingiush the truth from the bullshit. This is where the Redpill application of evo psych and sociology come into play: they help form an overarching framework, a model of reality, that agrees with our observations. This has the benefit of serving two purposes: of allowing us to extrapolate our initial observations into many different contexts. And also, it…

Except that all of those statements are right, especially if correctly interpreted (without extreme, comical, cliche interpretations). But a lot of men don't interpret these pieces of advice of correctly. I'm not trying to make any arguments about intent. The reality is that the comical and cliche interpretations are commonly held (even if not closely examined). If you think that women who are themselves honest will appreciate men who are dishonest and generally full of shit, especially for LTRs…

Yes, that statement is a bit ambigious, though I suspect that is by design (in order to enable a sort of motte and bailey). Taking into account that I am talking from the liberal social context, if said in a casual setting, then "strong sense of morality" means a man who supports feminism and women's issues. If you were to talk to the same person and ask them if their last hookup--who surprise, surprise is very often not a beta--has a strong sense of morality, they would say that of course he do…

Honestly, what it boils down to is that dualism as a male sexual strategy can only be implemented by high-value men. Only the top echelon can acquire sex without investing resources in return. Remember, sperm is cheap. The maximized male sexual strategy is polygyny. This is the traditional reproductive mode of the Alpha, who successfully sows his seed into a wide variety of mates. On the hand, the beta reproductive strategy parallels the female strategy: maximum investment. Betas find reproducti…

I'm not sure I understand the relevancy of your argument. Value on the sexual marketplace and value as a human being are two different non-interconnected things. A high-value person in the context of the sexual marketplace is defined as someone who is able to acquire the most sex. Tautologically speaking, if women have sex with you, you are high-value. These "top top" men that you talk about might from a general moral standpoint be higher "value" human beings, but they are not relevant to this d…

I disagree with your first remark. While women are slutty, they are only slutty for the top men. Hookup culture served not as a sexual equalizer, but as a manifestation of the increasing disparity between the haves and the have-nots in the sexual marketplace.

Validation is a drug more potent than any amphetamine. Women have always craved validation as social status is their currency of choice. But with the rise of social media, young women, utterly ordinary and unaccomplished except for a lucky roll of the genetic die, are getting the praise afforded only to the 1% of the 1% of men. This is my opinion, but these women are never worth the effort. Their neural networking has been overloaded by repeated shots of dopamine, frying their circuitry. There a…
