Yeah they can be hypocritical, but this is a serious issue. We should take the moral highground and support them on this one even though they treat our opinions on this subject as irrelevant. It's a tragedy that this is happening in a once great country.

Also I would like to add that feminism is a form of egalitarianism therefore if you are egalitarian you are also a feminist by default.

"Feminism is a range of social movements, political movements, and ideologies that aim to define and establish the political, economic, personal, and social equality of the sexes." This is literally the first sentence in the wikipedia article for FEMINISM. Of course it advocates female rights because female rights were endagered and mens werent.

"Quite simply, feminism is about all genders having equal rights and opportunities." A quote that pops up when you google what is feminism. So please tell me how this isn't my belief.

I really like this sub because it brings up some really important issues men face in modern society, but people in this thread seem to have never actually met a compasionate woman

I believe that men used to be at the top of modern society 40-50 years ago and still are at the top of less developed societies. I don't support modern feminism. I support the original ideology of feminism which is that women and men should be treated equally.

You do realise that feminism at its core is about equality of the genders. Discrimination against MEN is anti-feminist by default.

Well I dont see feminism as a movement anymore, but more like an ideology. In our society feminism has achieved its goal and isn't needed anymore but I will always support the ideology

Even though in the western modern society there is no large inequality between men and women, in other parts of the world women are dicriminated against and are stripped of their rights. I will always support the original idea of feminism:"make women equal to men".

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
