Dieting is the way to go, you'll end up less hungry on a daily basis and you'll be able to sustain it long-term. Please don't do weight loss drugs because these don't break your habits and when the treatment ends you'll probably regain more weight, and its side effects are not pretty.

Yeah, sucking a man's penis on the first dates and exposing yourself to getting a std is most definitely the equivalent of getting a pretty plant as a gift. You don't wanna be near men who think like that. The equivalent might be a small thoughtful gift such as a buying a snack he mentioned he loves, maybe a gaming gift card, or a couple homemade cookies.

Doctor K on YouTube talked about this not long ago. Basically, if he's struggling and falling behind in other areas of his life because of his gaming addiction, that's a no-go. BUT if videogames are not altering his progress in life or his character, then it's harmless and totally fine. I was a die-hard gamer during my teenage years. And I must recognize that gamers are usually neglecting many areas of their lives. I just realized now that I'm an adult. But to be fair, it's a case-by-case basis …

The shift starts from within. Love yourself and truly allow yourself to embody femininity. No amount of cosmetic procedures are gonna make up for the lack of self-esteem, so forgive yourself and work with what you have at the moment. That's step 1. Then, as others have suggested already, grooming can go a long way—long and styled hair, dresses, make-up, a floral fragrance, longer nails, jewelry. You've got this.

I'm on the same boat. You definitely have to move to a big city. Imo it's hard to find potential partners that satisfy your intellectual needs/ personal values in a small town/college town.

Maybe he has a micro p. Definitely figure it out before marriage. Maybe have a serious conversation. Idk.

Well, from now on you know that you keep your past to yourself, lesson learned for future relationships. Now, I think you need to be emotionally independent. Read how to become independent, there are plenty of resources online. Stating you want more physical touch is one thing and ask him to fix your mood is another. Stable People in general get sick of emotionally dependent people. Respect yourself so he respects you too. Regarding your relationship, you need to analyze if you want to pursue it…

Not picky at all. Keep on dating other men!

That's disrespectful imo. Don't take it too personal tho. I'd keep looking for other dating options.

I'll be the weirdo. Don't offer any cake or anything. Cooking for a man is something only a wife does. Imo, he'll appreciate it if you receive gracefully and show gratefulness. I agree with the others on not offering to pay at all. You'll give it back to him as the relationship strengthens imo, for now I'd stick to appreciation.

Sex education, having self-esteem, being financially literate, having your own hobbies and passions, have a good relationship with your body and know how to stay safe and healthy.

You'll know what you'll like and dislike with a partner only if you're sexually aware and experienced with yourself first.

Dont move in until you get married and talk about your financial beliefs now.
/r/RedPillWomen11/08/25 01:28 AM

I disagree with all the comments above. Your husband should agree and stay—when married, parenting requires BOTH parents—let him go out of town just because he's crybabying on having a child? He is not single anymore. He's not supposed to behave like peter pan. Now—Maybe he's concerned thinking it'll be permanent, he understandably might prefer to have your own space. Maybe explain is only temporary and he'll see the bigger picture.

Yeah if he's not willing to fulfill those needs I think it's time to let him go. I'm only a few years younger than you and I feel the same way about dating. The scene feels awful and I hate how men expect husband treatment without actually commiting and how we, women, are always under pressure because of our biological clock.

I respect your opinion. From my pov it's not a mindset, it's just how social reality works.

Thank you for the feedback. I appreciate this perspective too. So just to be clear, you're aware of where all the money goes? And if you don't mind me asking, you guys have separate bank accounts?

I get your point. I mentioned college educated because I went to college and thought it'd be nice to be on the same page regarding that with a man. So, where can those guys you mention be found? Like, what type of communities within a city? Generally speaking of course.

I forgot to add — I think it's also some sort of warranty of commitment. Sure, knowing where the money is won't stop a man from cheating or gambling or whatever, but I think letting the woman handle the money is the bare minimum standard that equals what she's bringing in— she's committing her life, her body, her health and youth, her time, her nurturing nature and so on. On the other hand, since men can get husband treatment without being married, I think it's particularly important for married…

I totally get it. Assuming the woman isn't a frivolous spender, what would be an effective way to communicate and ask for this style of managing to a male partner?

Hmm it's not about control but transparency and respect imo

Thank you for your first hand experience, I've always been told it was an unrealistic expectation.

Yes, hypothetically doing most of these being in the position of knowing where every single penny goes

Men do this because they get husband treatment without being married. I'm sorry you feel used but honestly you need no closure on his end, no explanations. Carry on and don't be an unmarried wife again.

From my experience, men you'd find at the church are not traditional either.

Nice to know I'm not alone lol. At this point I think it is a widespread issue in the country. I'm currently analyzing my next move.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
