Believing that the majority of men aren't worth dating Has an uncannily similar implication to believing that men are fundamentally flawed Does it not imply that all men are fundamentally flawed, save a select few, who (for arbitrary reasons) are somehow above the rest of us filth?

Not really, being able to remember stuff and recall it under pressure is a very useful life skill. More useful than drawing pretty posters and diaplays. This is factually incorrect. We now have technology to call upon accurate information within seconds. Good communication is a skill that cannot be measured on the paper. Examinations are obsolete. The future is now, old man. Coursework is just a measure of how much time outside of school you're willing to put into it rather than your knowledge Y…

Far less women are suited for positions of power. Why? Pre-menopausal women will not have access to nuclear codes for as long as I live. Why not? The wage gap is actually very narrow when you control for simple factors. But it still exists, even after you control for factors like "choice".

Wait who is "the left" that you're talking about? I mean shit, if you want to talk in vague terms like "the left" and "the right", I can point to things like: trying to kick transgenders out of the military creating fake universities to entrap racial minorities ICE You say "The left" appeals to racial minorities for voting power. Why doesn't "The right" do the same? And how does this even feed "the racism machine"? I have so many questions I don't even know where to begin. I'm not American, so b…

So? FDS points towards women's experiences as truth. It sounds like you are using your personal experiences as a post-hoc justification of your beliefs.

Well the biggest one is the transition away from exams which boys do better at towards coursework which girls do better at. Why? Surely being able to complete course work is a far more important life skill than exam-taking. Most work in life are projects, not exams. It makes perfect sense that schools do more coursework. Is there a female chromosome that allows for better results in course work or something? Surely you didn't forget about the big fuss being kicked up that less women attended uni…

Yes so where does immigration fall into racism? Because by all economic accounts, immigration is a net positive for any society. The assimilation of cultures, the increased productivity and output are all significant boons to a country. There is no rational argument against immigration that cannot simply be reduced to "brown people bad". I can tell you were raised by a single mother Can you not? I'm trying to have a civil discussion here.

"masculinity" and "femininity" are completely arbitrary terms which you can put any general qualities under. Playing sports? Fine, that's masculine Honesty? Masculine, I guess? Responsibility and leadership? Masculine But can't feminine people play sports? Can't feminine people tell the truth? Can't feminine people take responsibility and leadership? As far as I see it, "toxic masculinity" is the idea that certain negative qualities, are expressed in an attempt to gain masculinity. For example, …

But that also depends on what you mean by "socioculturally and psychologically harder". We can pull up statistics on wage gap, positions of power, and show that women have a harder life socioculturally. Then we can also pull up statistics that show men scoring lower, dropping out more, committing more crimes, committing more suicide, and show that men have a harder life socioculturally. It's pointless to play this oppression Olympics game. There's a problem in our lives? we work towards fixing i…

AWALT is necessary term because for some reason a lot of men fall under the impression that some women aren't attracted to alpha and just want beta men. This is just another unfalsifiable claim where you shift the goalposts on "alpha" and "beta" to suit the context. This amounts to the equivalent argument of "you can't prove god isn't real".

That's the Photoshop at work. They're not really posturing for men, it's more of a flex on women as far as I see. Their products are aimed at women, because their imagery of femininity is targeted at feminine insecurities.

I mean, we can do LOTS. We have huge dominance hierarchies of men who commit to abstaining from sex (Catholic Church). That's BONKERS from an evolutionary perspective. Well, not really? Because the reality under the church is that a lot of people married very young and had children at a very young age (often before the age of 20). That's where the meme about Christian girls being freaky comes from. There's no prize for "wizardry" in the Christian church. The church simply enforces that sexual ac…

Remember, if you want to have faith in humanity: just go outside. I've recently been through the hell hole that is American conservative media, and it took a toll on my mental health to see how many people held so much hatred for people of my ethnicity. But going outside, talking to people, you see what it's about. People out there care. People out there are also good and kind and tolerant and accepting.

The entirety of human society is unnatural. I don't buy this idea that going against nature is futile. I see a bimodality between nature and progress. With every step we take in progress, we shed our natural tendencies for unnatural ones. Yes, we have physiological needs, that much is undeniable. But we are innovative enough to find unnatural solutions. We have been for thousands of years.

Wonderful. We have something to work with here. So, why not push for fathers in courts to be treated more fairly? How is this social standard the women's fault? And how does this indicate an incentive to divorce? Most people choose not to divorce because they believe that staying together is the best choice when raising a child.

That's what the sarcastic tone in the comment is getting at. It implies that there is a "correctness" or a "goodness" in "natural" behaviours. This is a common move by Lobster psychologists. They speak of natural phenomena, and state that it's natural for humans to do similar things. The value judgement on "nature" is implicit in such statements, and this apparent lack of explicit value judgement allows for plausible deniability. Then if you try to deconstruct it, they accuse you of strawmanning…

Chill out, brother. Linking me a single article about one woman's story is hardly evidence of an endemic problem in the institution. I'm pretty sure that a judge is far better at giving an impartial and reasonable solution (to most problems) than you or I, and therefore leaving it up to their ruling is mostly fair. You're building up all these hypotheticals that are clearly founded in your pathological fears of separation and loss. Take a step back and breathe, dude.

I, personally, don't see how. Most people I know (when they do OLD) are also going out very often. They do sports, hiking, all kinds of meetups. They go clubbing, they go to bars and talk to people, they attend TED talks, conventions, they do social work, all that good stuff. Online dating is just an extra thing to do while you're stuck in the commute.

Judges can just throw them out on the grounds that "the woman was clearly under duress when signed it" or "she wasn't thinking clearly", etc. Can you show me that this is a problem? That is, statistically significant? This seems like fear mongering to me. If a woman is put under duress when signing a prenup, that is a valid ground to void it. Lawyers do their best to show whether it is or isn't duress. And come on, "wasn't thinking clearly?" This is hardly a defensible stance. Come on. It's only…

So shouldn't we change these systems so that men are also equally benefiting from the welfare state/divorce court? We could make it so that men who were dependents (SAHF etc.) benefited in the same way that women who are dependents benefit from the system.

No? When did I say that? Such a myopic, childish view of the world "reeeeee women have such privilege reeeeee look at these inequalities". You're not really caring about the men in this situation, are you? You sound like you just want to see women put through more suffering. It's quite apparent in the words you use. I think it's got more to do with the insecurity of replaceability. There's a thought in the back of your mind, "I'm being compared to all of her previous partners", and you are subconsciously always in a mental competition with the other people she used to be with.

I just want to point out that sexuality is not as fluid as you make it out to be. Based purely on personal experience, but if I were to self-insert into a gay situation, which I've done once or twice when I was exploring the idea, I always feel discomfort. It's similar to the discomfort I feel imagining myself in intimate situations with women I very decidedly do not feel attraction to. You can call that homophobic if you want, but my sexuality very decidedly has not, and will not change.

We don't refer to people by gender, we refer to people by sex. like I said, newborns and unborn children are given pronouns based on their sex before they can even have a gender identity. "He's kicking!" "She weighed Xlbs at birth" If you were correct, we would refer to all unborn and new borns with they/them pronouns until they start presenting as male or female, but we don't do we? Men value niceness (agreeableness) because it’s a feminine trait that makes women easier to prey upon and take advantage of. Men are hunters, and a hunter’s instinct is to prefer to go after weak, easy prey. Oh man that's a really hot take. I'm much more of a builder/creator, and I desire agreeableness to a limited extent because many hands make light work. Having someone I can work with and create and build with is an important thing to me.

Gender shouldn’t exist it literally means nothing. But it does, and it's how we refer to other people Sex is biological. Your behavior doesn’t determine your sex. Correct. But your sex has a soft determining factor in your behaviour, which is expressed through gender stereotypes.

You agreed that he refers to men and she refers to women. You also agreed on the definition of what a male and a female are. And by my definitions, you can have a male woman and a female man Someone appearing as something they arent doesnt exempt them from science. Gender is a cultural/social expression. Sex is scientific. None is needed (just like you didn’t need any). Men are the ones who created all the amazing things in the world that you use (with some very minor exceptions). It is men who actually help the poor, create inventions to fight global warming, etc. Ooof you might be very triggered to find out the gender composition of the environmental engineering department in my local university (top 20 globally). And what group actually commits good 90% of the time too? That is right, men again. Citation needed. Men are just the group that does things, women just talk about things and use men to commit the deeds they want done. Citation needed. Just look at what patriarchy is, it is literally all about morality. Even sealing away pleasure for the common good. And what "common good" is that? Providing the average man with a woman that doesn't love him?

Woah woah woah let's slow down. Of course we dont check their pants. That doesn't change anything, I never said that you were going to be correct 100% of the time. That's right, we don't check their pants. Therefore, we must build up a construct, in our minds of what a "man" is and what a "woman" is. That's how we function; we build stereotypes and constructs. Based on somewhat sexually dimorphic traits, and based on cultural norms such as dress codes and makeup, we assume other people's genders…

Because big has both g-spot simulation and feeling of fullness. Best analogy I can give is having a burger. You have a burger, or you have a burger with fries. The burger alone will still makes you feel satisfied and full. The burger with fries is more filling, but just a burger is good too. I'd only be worried if the burger was not filling at all, or the burger tastes like shit, or the burger was rotted. Reasons that suggest that not eating the burger is better than eating the burger. The terms 'gender' and 'sex: have always been used synonymously and "gender pronouns" always referred to the sex of a person. When did this non-sense that men can be women and vice versa start? Since the beginning of time. "You throw/act/talk like a girl, be a man". Always existed. I dont understand why anyone but the person affected should care about their gender? You yourself are defining feminine or masculine characteristics and choosing to remove yourself from that. Which feels better? The stumlation of the g-spot or the filled up sensation? The former. You said the average guy was one of the best lovers, what was sex with him like though. Since size matters, I'm guessing you only enjoyed the oral part with him since average would feel like nothing during sex. WOOOOAH THERE you made a very drastic jump. Size might matter, but that does not mean average feels like nothing.

As an aside, scientific research has shown that the majority of nerve clusters for pleasure are centred around the clitoris to about 3 inches inside the vagina (g-spot). The girl might be more attracted if you're packing. You never know. But you only really need 3-4 inches (think length of your index finger) to make a girl go wild.

1). Women want a tall guy, big dick, educated, makes a ton a money: Crickets. Crickets could be the sound of everyone just turning away and shaking their heads. Kind of like the audience at an amy schumer stand-up routine. 2). A man wants a woman with a decent job, big tits, nice ass and sucks sloppy: THE MISOGYNY. You missed the part where she has to be a Virgin too. But that's besides the point. You get to see plenty of both.

Thank you for the data, but it seems like you draw conclusions that may not necessarily be there (and aren't really supported in the article) The article points to things such as religion, which does not appeal to me whatsoever. I have zero interest in going anywhere near a hardcore church-goer. Why get married in the first place?

I personally Don't buy into the "chase". Games are fun when you know it's a game. As a socially awkward person, I only like to play games with people that I've already built relationships with. I might escalate and show interest with girls I talk to. If they act disinterested I'm getting the fuck out of there.

You are reaaaaaaaally stretching now the real impact and internalization of racism on human beings, but I'll bite, if racists were like that then I would have zero problems with them. This isn't a stretch. This is an exploration into racist ideologies. I only have a problem with the malignant racism and sexism, and I personally believe that TRP is benign in their sexism. Give me an example of "benign" racism. For example, if a company were to fire a man because he is black, that would be benign,…

Interesting how you drew very strong conclusions from the article that do not correlate at all to what it says. The article points to how men are treated poorly in the workplace due to being required to be everywhere all the time, and also the surprising lack of desire to have children in men. But childlessness does not imply sexlesness, and I'll ask you to prove to me that male virginity and loneliness in Norway is a rising problem due to hypergamy.

Considering how many women I know that are hardcore communists, that sounds like a dream come true. They have their bare minimum, they meet someone who also has a minimum... Sounds liberating. Everyone becomes truly equal, except for a few select people. People become defined by what they do for each other, not what they have. Cool. I only bring up that statistic because it inherently has a prejudicial undertone. The fact that people do not question the nature or cause of that statistic is the bigger question to be asked. But somehow the discussion never goes there. This statistic does not mean that a black per…

Most men, when redpilled, don't like the dual mating strategy of women: the women's consistent actions of giving away sex for free to slobs, losers, chads, and other unstable dudes, but demand 50% of a self made man's net worth to commit to her used up ass. But, I don't see what's wrong with letting girls into the scouts, and unifying scouting/guiding. Regardless, your discussion with the other person is futile. You are arguing from an authoritarian left wing perspective, against someone who is arguing from a libertarian right wing perspective.

That kind of thinking is dangerous. Explain. How is it dangerous to think that something isn't right because one person suddenly feels "off"? From my limited experience, even period mood swings, although awful, could be talked through. Feelings of shame and depression could be helped with love and positivity.

Your argument has dissolved into incoherence. If an poor man had no choice but to go into mining, it's a failure of the system that works him to the bone and provides him no fulfillment. But if a woman has no choice but to pop out children and stay at home by virtue of being a woman, that's okay because poor men have it so much harder than the woman. Is it impossible to accept that maybe, just maybe... Both situations are horrible and need(ed) to be changed? But I literally said that poor women …

Even "value" is subjective, when it comes to looking for partners.

Hell why not rape a few kids while you're at it, since YOLO? Gun down a crowded area? Because YOLO and hurting other people isn't fun...?

But in such a situation, that's mostly because underlying problems aren't being dealt with.

I never considered the degradation, and I'm still not convinced by that idea that a woman is "degraded". My questioning of a high n-count comes from a place of insecurity, where I start to ask "how replaceable am I really?".

It may not necessarily be the age in play here, as much as the generational norms. My parents are in this "older group", and still have boomer mentalities when it comes to husband-wife dynamics (the woman is never wrong, just be quiet and say "yes dear", the difference between a girlfriend and a wife is 50lb) Naturally, the people my mum thinks are attractive are massively different from the people my sister thinks are attractive.

it works It works, in part because of the auxiliary self improvement. It also provides admission of failure: you will have to keep trying to eventually succeed. If a man goes through self improvement, and develops self esteem and confidence, how different is it from someone who goes through self-improvement, projects these "alpha traits" and maintains the facade? it offers explanations that make sense; and answers to question that nobody else answers correctly. But the reason why it "answers" qu…

For some, perhaps. For others, it will not be enough.

The sexual Revolution only sought to break that "otherness" between men and women, to realise that women and men have many common needs and wants. Saying that women have been "redpilled" from the beginning does undermine the wants and needs of men. Many (I daresay most) men want more than just a warm hole that cooks and cleans in the house. Many men want emotional partners, people that accept who they are, people who will be by their side in the best and worst times. I think people, as a whole, …

Yeah... I've got a friend who plays piano at Pro level. He absolutely fucking hates it, only does recitals and orchestra for the quick bucks he makes. I totally understand

I'm arguing that if I saw "men's dating strategy" that it would be easy to assume that it is a wide male audience that takes part. Either way, thanks for the insight. I suppose subreddit names do not completely reflect their content.

Is it not representative of women? "The red pill" can be lumped as its own unique ideology. "Mgtow" and be lumped as, in the nicest terms, men who perceive women as nothing but gold diggers and therefore try to go their own way. When I saw the name FDS, I assumed it was regular women looking for advice on finding partners and companionship.

Few people could hope to enter the professional scene in music. I think genuine interest in the art would be a hundred times more attractive than someone who goes "anyway, here's wonderwall" because they only wanted to learn 5 chords. And obviously skill level is variable in this window.

What you’re describing is old fashioned chivalry and gender roles But aren't old fashioned chivalry and gender roles patriarchal concepts? Or are we simply arguing semantics here.

Right, but OP is saying that these acts are inherently patriarchal in nature, and thus FDS want these "patriarchal" benefits.
