I know the state in which I live, Louisiana, has a favorable lean toward mothers as far as guardianship goes. My wife and I love each other very much, and we are a great team with no plans on dispersing, but it breaks my heart knowing that if we just decide to peacefully split, it is very likely I wouldn't get any of my babies.

Absolutely. How long has this been an issue? Is it a steady - rate phenomenon, or is it a growing trend?

I almost feel dumb for being ignorant of this problem for so long. It's actually appalling, even my wife is disgusted by the lack of equality.

I just subscribed to this sub. Beforehand, I had no idea there was such a bias on men, is it really this prevalent?

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
