Saying that women only love men for their status or their ability to provide is like saying that men only love women for their bodies. There are definitely women who only love men for their ability to provide but not nearly all of them are like that. It may be a factor to many or at least a related factor to the ability to provide (self-sufficiency, responsibility, drive to improve ones life) but things like confidence and personality usually trump the size of your paycheck.

I took a class in college called "Men and Masculinity", which pretty much explored male culture, mens issues, and the reasons behind the typical male lifestyle and ideals. I think focusing on Mens Rights alone is a little too dull of a subject for a full class. Something which focuses more on male culture as whole would be way more interesting.

My girlfriend was originally from Malaysia and she was randomly chosen to train for military service for a while. She didn't have to do any fighting, but spent a a few months in boot camp with a bunch of other men and women. If she still lived their, she could have been called to serve at any time. There definitely have been studies that have shown showing two different profiles for the same exact man, the only difference was one has a basic job and one has a much higher paying one. Women consistently graded the attractiveness of the high-earning profile far higher than the one with a low paying job. The same thing was done on a woman's profile and job/income had no effect. Searching for the research now, I remember seeing it on a documentary but it should be easy to find.

Well it's an organization, I don't think the rules are as strict as something like a job. Honestly, if the genders were reversed and women were complaining, I'd laugh that they were so up in arms over something so small and dumb when there are far worse things out there. To answer your question, yes it is discrimination, but on such a minute scale that it practically doesn't count.

I think the reason behind this is that we relate men getting angry with domestic abuse while women getting angry with blowing off steam. No one should ever take out their anger on their SO or lose control of their temper on a regular basis, man or woman.

Hmm, I'm really not sure. I'm pretty sure if there isn't a legal case then the student technically CAN transfer, but that would still be on the record for his reason for leaving. And transferring colleges is a huge hassle, not only do you have to move everything, but it's guaranteed that at least half of your work and your credits just won't count, essentially costing you thousands of dollars. The majority of women are not like that, the situation has never happened to me or to most people I know. And also, college campuses are far worse than any regular legal accusations of rape. In a court of law, even if the judge is biased, you need some sort of evidence and you can get a lawyer. If college, it will get you socially ruined and/or kicked out with little or no evidence.

Well mostly that he was "trying" to rape her. If he refused her proposal, before he left the dorm, she would have started screaming "HEEELLP!" and "RAAAPPPE!" at the top of her lungs. Cops would have been called immediately and the guy arrested on sight. As the OP proved, on a campus level, there is practically no place for evidence or proof, just the woman's word.
