Guys this may sound like a stupid question but I am sincereSaying that women only love men for their status or their ability to provide is like saying that men only love women for their bodies. There are definitely women who only love men for their ability to provide but not nearly all of them are like that. It may be a factor to many or at least a related factor to the ability to provide (self-sufficiency, responsibility, drive to improve ones life) but things like confidence and personality usually trump the size of your paycheck. | /r/MensRights | 06/09/12 06:00 PM
I'm going to spend 11 months with two girls, abroad, in one home. How do I turn this into a casual, "hippie", free love thing?1) Then why was this even posted to SRS if they knew it was a troll? What's the point? And why'd it get so many upvotes (or downvotes I guess). 2) Only four of the parent threads (not the replies) acknowledge it's a troll. Eight of them talk about how disturbed they are by the post or how crazy r/seduction is. Oh, and while we're at it, let's bring up how many of the SRS'ers are saying they hope people in r/seduction take the advice seriously and severely hurt themselves in the process. | 1 | I'm going to spend 11 months with two girls, abroad, in one home. How do I turn this into a casual, "hippie", free love thing?I went to SRS looking for evidence that they're completely out of touch and quite dumb and came across this thread posted there. They quite honestly think you're serious. I'm not kidding. They think this post is completely serious post and that this is not a troll/joke at all. And they think all of the upvotes for this are because people agree and are going to follow your advice, instead of upvoting because you made them laugh. They actually think people are upvoting this because they think "Thi… | /r/seduction | 22/08/12 04:10 AM
/r/feminisms on MRA and the MRM (do not post comments there, they will be deleted)Feminism is more controversial than the civil rights movement Oh yeah, I remember reading in history about all those feminists protestors who got sprayed with fire hoses during their protests and had police dogs sicked on them. | /r/MensRights | 21/08/12 08:47 PM
How about a men's rights course?I took a class in college called "Men and Masculinity", which pretty much explored male culture, mens issues, and the reasons behind the typical male lifestyle and ideals. I think focusing on Mens Rights alone is a little too dull of a subject for a full class. Something which focuses more on male culture as whole would be way more interesting. | /r/MensRights | 21/08/12 08:38 PM
FEMINISM DEAD FOR CLASS OF '16. This year's college freshmen are accustomed to seeing women in position of leadership. The stereotype of ditzy blonde women has given way to one of "dumb and dumber males."tumblr feminism is like reddit atheism. It's completely unrelated to the actual movement and full of circlejerky idiots. | /r/MensRights | 21/08/12 08:35 PM
Man jailed for posting ratings of women's sexual performance on FacebookAre you talking about the girl who rated the sexual experience all of the men she slept with on campus in a powerpoint? | -2 | ramzpaul on Daniel Tosh and rape jokesI'm sorry, but this is bullshit. His argument is fucking everywhere. First of all, Daniel Tosh didn't just tell a rape joke and then have some lady walk out of his show crying. He was telling jokes about rape, some the woman said that you shouldn't joke about rape, and he said “Wouldn’t it be funny if that girl got raped by like, five guys right now… like right now?” (This is based off of the woman's account, which I'm guessing is where this guy got his info). That's completely different, like w… | /r/MensRights | 24/07/12 10:39 PM
X-Post from Childfree: "The Trap": Woman's friends plan to get pregnant to trap a manThis is a really good example of how horrible and how awesome women can be. The women who were trying to trick the boyfriend into getting her pregnant were sociopaths, but the woman who stopped it all and actually ruined her friendship to let the guy know is a real trooper. Hats off to her. | /r/MensRights | 31/05/12 12:50 PM
This is a serious question that sounds like a joke. That whole paying for dates thing is archaic and far outdated. Very few women expect you to go out and pay for her dinner anymore. It's still common that on first dates that the man does pay if it's inexpensive, but almost all dates I've been on we've split the bill in some ways. I'll pay for the minigolf, she pays for a cheap lunch. She'll pay for the movie tickets, I'll pay for the popcorn and drinks. In fact bring a woman out just for dinner is kind of boring and overplayed, doing something c… | /r/MensRights | 31/05/12 12:42 PM
This has been circulating my news feed today. I don't even.....I feel like if the pictures on the left were more of men in general from that era, not of just men in the military, then it'd make way better of a point. | /r/MensRights | 31/05/12 12:21 PM
What is a misogynist? This guy's a dick, did you see the book he's selling on the sidebar on how to cheat on your girlfriend? | /r/MensRights | 28/05/12 03:49 PM
Xpost ask reddit: his girlfriend hits him. The whole story is awful, if the sexes were swapped, someone would likely be in prisonThat guy calls every comment poop. He has -743 karma. | /r/MensRights | 28/05/12 03:46 PM
x-post from r/bestof: male recounts harassment, gets told he cannot tell a woman what's whatI'm actually proud. The one comment on there that I saw telling the guy he didn't have a right to say that got her shit told by a vast majority, and the lady actually ended up apologizing. | /r/MensRights | 24/05/12 01:16 PM
Re: Military draftMy girlfriend was originally from Malaysia and she was randomly chosen to train for military service for a while. She didn't have to do any fighting, but spent a a few months in boot camp with a bunch of other men and women. If she still lived their, she could have been called to serve at any time. I think the draft shouldn't be a thing, although we all know it is a necessary evil, but if it is around it needs to be just like this, equal for all. | /r/MensRights | 24/05/12 12:52 PM
In a recent bestof post, women talked about how they were harassed...Men actually get a different version of this, and it's usually perpetrated from the same type of guys. Guys who catcall girls tend to be the same type of guys who start fights with other men for no reason. They're the kind of people who will get drunk at a bar and get in your face for no reason, or will call you a faggot as you walk down the sidewalk. And these guys will only start fights if they are either much visibly stronger than man, or if they have a group of friends with them. They only s… | /r/MensRights | 24/05/12 12:51 PM
New theory claims that men are attracted to dumb-looking women, because they're easier to exploit. There definitely have been studies that have shown showing two different profiles for the same exact man, the only difference was one has a basic job and one has a much higher paying one. Women consistently graded the attractiveness of the high-earning profile far higher than the one with a low paying job. The same thing was done on a woman's profile and job/income had no effect. Searching for the research now, I remember seeing it on a documentary but it should be easy to find. | /r/MensRights | 24/05/12 12:46 PM
Advice for a graduating seniorIt's a lot more blown up than it seems. It happens but not as much as advertised here. Just remember not to hook up with girls who are too drunk or who don't seem into it. And don't stick your dick in crazy. If you start dating a girl and she's throwing up red flags, get out before it gets serious. And if anything does happen where you're falsely charged, lawyer up immediately. | /r/MensRights | 24/05/12 12:41 PM
There is no way of phrasing this without sounding like a complete asshole...Have you suppressed anyone in your life time? Have you personally contributed to racism, sexism, or homophobia? No? Well why the hell should you feel guilty? You are not the summation of your parents and their parents sins. You are your own person and anyone who makes you feel guilty about what you were born to be while ignoring your character can fuck off. | /r/MensRights | 20/05/12 02:52 AM
What do you all think of my take on feminists vs MRAs?Finally. Agreed, liked, would read again. | /r/MensRights | 16/05/12 02:10 AM
Is this discrimination?Well it's an organization, I don't think the rules are as strict as something like a job. Honestly, if the genders were reversed and women were complaining, I'd laugh that they were so up in arms over something so small and dumb when there are far worse things out there. To answer your question, yes it is discrimination, but on such a minute scale that it practically doesn't count. | /r/MensRights | 15/05/12 01:21 PM
Pay gap myth persists with Senate Candidate! grrrrrrrrrrHonestly, I'd be fine with legislation if it said "A man and a woman working the same job and hours with the same grade on their quarterly review will be paid the same amount per hour". Of course, such legislation will never come. It will be far more complicated and far less fair. | /r/MensRights | 15/05/12 12:52 PM
So, this happened in my women's psychology class this morning....Well you could just hire all women and no men. | /r/MensRights | 15/05/12 12:34 PM
Woman here, just wanted to say something. (Not sure if it's the right place, but here I go.)I think the reason behind this is that we relate men getting angry with domestic abuse while women getting angry with blowing off steam. No one should ever take out their anger on their SO or lose control of their temper on a regular basis, man or woman. | /r/MensRights | 15/05/12 12:33 PM
Mother arrested in London after father finds children dead. Husband was heard wailing in the street shortly before paramedics and police arrived. But this is just a single case, this proves nothing. What would you say if feminists posted a link of a man who has raped 5 children and said that it highlights that men are the primary rapists? You'd say that they're bigoted for posting one bad apple and painting men as a whole a shade of red. If a feminist posted a woman who was severely abused by her husband? "Oh, they're using one story to demonize men". Yet we turn around and upvote this and call ourselves better than feminists and their "d… | /r/MensRights | 11/05/12 05:06 PM

This is the moment I realized something was seriously wrong with the way society treats us males. Do you have similar stories?Hmm, I'm really not sure. I'm pretty sure if there isn't a legal case then the student technically CAN transfer, but that would still be on the record for his reason for leaving. And transferring colleges is a huge hassle, not only do you have to move everything, but it's guaranteed that at least half of your work and your credits just won't count, essentially costing you thousands of dollars. Honestly my school was fairly good with this, and is more inclined to look at both sides of the story a… | /r/MensRights | 11/05/12 08:45 AM
This is the moment I realized something was seriously wrong with the way society treats us males. Do you have similar stories? The majority of women are not like that, the situation has never happened to me or to most people I know. And also, college campuses are far worse than any regular legal accusations of rape. In a court of law, even if the judge is biased, you need some sort of evidence and you can get a lawyer. If college, it will get you socially ruined and/or kicked out with little or no evidence. | /r/MensRights | 10/05/12 01:52 AM
This is the moment I realized something was seriously wrong with the way society treats us males. Do you have similar stories?Well mostly that he was "trying" to rape her. If he refused her proposal, before he left the dorm, she would have started screaming "HEEELLP!" and "RAAAPPPE!" at the top of her lungs. Cops would have been called immediately and the guy arrested on sight. As the OP proved, on a campus level, there is practically no place for evidence or proof, just the woman's word. A woman can say the word, throw in a few tears, and pretty much destroy someone completely innocent educationally and socially. | /r/MensRights | 09/05/12 08:51 PM
Faith in humanity lost...Jumping in, and I know no one will believe me, but my college roommate and good friend got circumcised at the age of 21. I asked him about it and he says that he was glad he did it and he didn't notice any difference in feeling. | /r/MensRights | 09/05/12 12:09 PM
So, these "dude tips" are all over UCLA. By the Bruin Feminists for "Equality"I remember at my college, they had these little stickers in the urinals in the mens bathroom saying "You hold the power to stop rape in your hands". I don't usually get offended by these things, but assuming that only men are rapists and that women are always the victims just pissed me off. If I went into the womens bathroom stall and put "You have the power to stop abortion between your legs" stickers up, the entire school and probably the feminist community would be in an uproar and would call… | /r/MensRights | 09/05/12 12:05 PM
This is the moment I realized something was seriously wrong with the way society treats us males. Do you have similar stories? Not exactly a fight, but I heard from one of my RA friends that a some freshman guy was hanging out and drinking with a female in their dorm and she was trying to hit on him. He didn't want to have sex with her and attempted to leave, at which point the female said "If you don't sleep with me, I'm going to yell as loud as I can that you're raping me". Thinking that no one would believe him over her if she went through with it, he begrudgingly had sex with her then left. He told the RA later that… | /r/MensRights | 09/05/12 12:02 PM
I need some advice.Wow, and all without evidence? If you do get accused, lawyer up immediately. If for any reason you can't sue the school, go to the local television station immediately and try to spread the word and contact whatever Male Rights groups you can. Honestly though, if your school would do a witch hunt of this extent, would you really want to stay? | /r/MensRights | 08/05/12 06:56 PM
Butler University Is Told to Spend More Money on Male Athletes, was informed it’s violating U.S. civil rightsThe amount of sports scholarship funding should directly correlate to how much money the school makes off of ticket sales or how many spectators there are. End of story. | /r/MensRights | 08/05/12 03:25 PM
I need some advice.Holy crap, this is genuinely frightening. What sort of power does the school judicial court have? Obviously this case as you told it wouldn't stand up in court, but what's the worst that could happen hypothetically? I assume all the student courts need is her word to convict you, but if something serious does happen, you need to get a lawyer and threaten to sue the school. | /r/MensRights | 08/05/12 03:19 PM
Wife and I in constant arguments, been thru 2 rounds of marriage counseling, have a 3-year old boy, please help with adviceIt seems irresponsible finances seems to be a huge stress factor. You should go back to counseling and talk about getting separate accounts. This way she can't touch your funds and can't bury you in financial debt and she will have her own funds to spend whatever she wants to on it. I mean she'll get offended you asked for it, but it needs to be done. If you can't handle it anymore and want to get a divorce, gather all the evidence and bring it to a good divorce lawyer. | 1 | Can we discuss this [Slutwalk 2xc crosspost]?There are just not enough details in that one poster. How drunk was she? What level of consent did she give if any? What did she do to prevent the rape? How much force was used? It's far too situational. Rape is rarely black and white, it's extremely situational and privy to hundreds of different factors. Some people will say it's only rape if it was holding her against her will, some people will say it's rape if she feels raped, some will say if she was drunk it was rape, some will say if she i… | /r/MensRights | 07/05/12 05:16 PM
