Yep. I was the "3/10" girl in high school and was rejected a lot. I had a glow up in college, and I finally felt what it was like to be desired starting at around age 22, but the lead up to that was rough. I kind of just roll my eyes when I hear about men moaning about not having sex or girlfriends in high school and claiming that all women have it easy.

Earn money Men don't care otherwise our species would be extinct. Oh, pimps are a myth now? Prostitution isn't the "oldest profession"? Some men do seem to care verymuch when it comes to exploiting women's bodies

I used to pursue guys when I was in high school, and I was always turned down (except by one, who eventually admitted that he liked my hot friend, but she was way out of his league). In my experience, they want to be the "hunter" and get genuinely weirded out when girls make the first move. And no, I'm not talking about Chads, because I was specifically interested in these guys because they weren't Chads.

Doctors appointments aren’t constant though. Anecdotal, but they are when you have a toddler who needs multiple weekly therapies (born very premature doing great, but is developmentally delayed) and an infant who also needs regular check-ups and vaccines. It's not "Munchausen syndrome", it's actually necessary. Lol ask my husband how he feels about doctor/therapy appointments. He currently takes on the burden of both (used to be me 99% of the time) and he takes them seriously, because they're ne…

Honest question, what kind of things?

Just for clarity, pumping is an insane undertaking too. 15 minutes of pumping at a time, every three hours all day/night, washing/sanitizing parts afterwards, and the baby still needs to be fed (don't forget the time it takes to heat up the pumped milk). I would have preferred to exclusively breastfeed, but my baby fell asleep long before she drained a breast, so I literally would have just never slept by the time she got hungry and had to feed again. Heaven help you if sleeping during the day i…
/r/PurplePillDebate06/08/25 05:50 AM

Cleaning the baby's feeding equipment An underrated task. To properly clean the baby's feeding equipment AND/OR pumping equipment is such a massive add-on when you're already long overdue for sleep
/r/PurplePillDebate06/08/25 05:30 AM

Yeah. Newborns are "the best" when you're not the one getting only two hours of sleep for about three months straight, and incrementally better sleep in the months after.

I've tried pointing out this same dynamic whenever incels talk about robot girlfriends replacing real women. They might do the trick for some men, but most will simply be unable to get past the fact that the robot didn't choose them

You literally just described the work I've been doing all year, while I am/was also pregnant. A lot of wilderness hiking and carrying around heavy, bulky equipment. It definitely qualifies as dirty, dangerous, and physically demanding

I'm right there with you, I find motherhood to be highly fulfilling and my husband is amazing. But I also work in a career that is part of something greater than myself. I work in conservation/ecological observation (which doesn't pay great, BTW) and while some people might hand-wave that away as unnecessary, I'm part of the people on the ground who, as one part of what I do, collect samples of species and their associated pathogens so that people who are a lot smarter than me can use that data …

It bothered me when I was younger (like, as a child and teenager) because I always assumed that "physically stronger" automatically meant "superior" in all aspects. But as I grew to learn that: 1) physical prowess means little in the modern world, outside of self-defense and occupations such as firefighter or military, and that 2) women's bodies evolved towards the priceless function of creating/carrying/birthing/feeding whole new people, and that in and of itself is something to be proud of*. I…

I agree that it's obvious rage bait, but rage bait with a purpose for driving discussion. I see it as a response that puts to task the common hyperbolic Redpill stance that all men always find young women the most attractive, as well as the concept of "The Wall at 30" being a universal viewpoint of all men, and that men only settle for older women and single mothers because it's all they can get. When men on here respond with "Hey, that's not my viewpoint, and here's why" then the post has done …

It must be similar to how women feel when they are objectivized only for their looks It is. When I was in high school and early college I made an effort to approach men and was rejected multiple times. And you know what? I get it. I was not overweight but I was not conventionally attractive at all, and I didn't know or care how to accentuate what little looks I had with flattering clothes/hair/makeup. I was also socially awkward to boot. Then in my mid to early 20's, I had quite the 'glow up' an…

I also think sometimes people do raise good points I never would have thought of When I first began interacting with this sub I thought that all of the posts about how difficult men have it in the dating world were highly exaggerated. When I was in the dating game in my 20's, I would very often see men who were definitely not the 'Chad' ideal (shorter, chubby, balding, not rich, not highly charismatic, etc.) eventually dating, marrying, and starting families with women who were at least their lo…

I think most men as individuals (certainly the ones in my life) are decent men who love their families. I have had only good, decent men in my life too. I'm trying to think of any men in my family---dad, stepdad grandfathers, uncles, cousins---who haven't been good, supportive, loving, normal people, and I can't come up with any. Even my relationships with my ex boyfriends ended amicably. I had some ridiculous male bosses, but nobody who did anything too terrible. Some male classmates in high sc…

Attraction is a combination of everything. I've never felt attraction just from looking at a random person - I need to get to know them to get any chances to feel sexual attraction to them. I just don't function in a way you think all women/all people do. Same!

If it's really all the same, "just work" as you're implying here, then would you (personally) rather: -Choose to work for a minimum wage job flipping burgers all day, or -Would you rather make five times as much in wages, but your job is to give blow jobs/recieve anal sex from multiple strangers all day? Framing the question in this way is relevant, because if sex work is not different than "any other type of work" then logic would suggest that you would choose the latter.

Seriously, the way some men on this sub describe the supposedly ubiquitous alpha fix/beta bux dynamic is so foreign to me. I never had a hoe phase either, only had three long-term relationships before my husband, none of which would be considered "Chads" by redpill standards. Met and married husband in my late 20's, been married for seven years, and I actually look up to him because, you know, I'm attracted to him and love him. Nevermind how most men in committed relationships still watch a lot of porn (usually of thin, young, pretty, big-breasted women) but will tell their partner that "it's no big deal, men like variety, men are just visual!" Yep, most women know exactly what it's like to be settled for because their man can't get someone better (at least, appearance-wise, which they so often claim is more important than personality/values/accomplishments)

We still get to travel and have fun, we just take them (or send them to their grandparents house haha). Same! We have one child with another on the way. It was literally the grandparents' idea to for the last two years to watch our son while my husband and I vacationed for ten days in the Carribean

There is some truth to this, but I'm only applying it to myself because I can't speak for other women: My mother's, mother-in-law's, and grandmother's generations were very sensitive about the social scrutiny of their home, because of spite of them being career women, they felt that they would be the most judged (versus the husband) for an untidy home. Certainly by other women, but I would say by a fair amount of men, too. I definitely picked up on that as a child, and while I can tolerate a far…

"I consider once a week duty sex to be a deadbedroom." Just curious as to how your perspective in what constitutes a deadbedroom is framed. Work (including housework), children, and busy schedules are exhausting to both married men and women, not to mention lowered libido for both sexes with age. Care to answer the question?

I think men externalize their struggles more often than women. I think this in part explains random mass shootings/school shootings, the vast majority of which are perpetrated by men. After a mass shooting occurs people will say things like "If you're going to kill yourself anyway, why take out innocent people? Why kill children? Why not just off yourself?" And I believe the answer is that these men want to spread the suffering outwards onto others as much as possible and will even choose victim…

Sure, but even the Amish are willing to hire outsider taxi drivers to get them around or to ride on trains they didn't build themselves. That one guy is still only there because the women give him permission to be. Given how much agriculture and livestock tending that so many rural African women are responsible for (especially compared to some urban keyboard warrior dude in the West, lol) the women don't need that one man to be there, they allow him to be. It's still a female-only society.

There's also this female-only village in Kenya that was founded "as a sanctuary for homeless survivors of violence against women, and young girls running from forced marriages or female genital mutilation". Men are allowed to visit, but not live there.

Moreso for me it when I was dating there were men I could "connect with" (we enjoyed each other's company, our personalities meshed) but there were some things that just weren't compatible between us for an romantic relationship. For example, I turned men down if I found out that they weren't interested in ever, at any point, with anyone, being married or having children, or if other such life goals and values differed significantly from mine. I had great friendships with those men, but a relati…

I think that I would be willing to sacrifice, but I'm having trouble coming up with examples of what sort of things I would be pouring my time and effort into that I wouldn't want to. I have one child right now with another on the way, and I always wanted to be a parent, so birthing/raising children doesn't count as a sacrifice for me. It's not 50/50, and it shouldn't be. In my opinion he really shouldn't get any custody at all, because for one he's not paying his child support anyways (can't get a job, because he even when he tests clean for drugs, he doesn't show up for work). This is only a singular case, but I do think that it demonstrates the extreme end of shitty behavior wherein men will still be granted custody.

I wasn't trying to put words in your mouth, I really am trying to understand. But with the general atmosphere of this sub, I get why it would sound that way. Ah ok, so I think that what you're saying is that if the woman is the drugee/useless one, then the courts are more likely to rule in her favor, versus if it's the man who's a POS, then the court is more likely to rule in favor of both parents. Is that right?
/r/PurplePillDebate11/11/23 05:10 AM
1

So, usually the government will rule that it's better for a child to have shared custody amongst both parents, rather than just one? Even if they're not together? That's what I figured, but the way Redpill tells it, the woman always gets the kids.

I'm not doubting you outright, but from what I've seen in real life, women usually can't get sole custody of their children from even the absolute shittiest of partners. My sister is one example. Yes, she should have picked better, and yes, why did she choose to breed with him, etc., etc., yada yada. It was a terrible decision on her part to procreate with a lazy-ass drug addict, no doubt. I'm actually weirdly supportive of the oncoming population collapse. Very much so because of the environment/limitation of resources, but also for other reasons, too. I'm a millennial and I don't expect that 'things' in society are going to get any better as I age, anyway. I will already be recieving far less from U.S. SS than I'm contributing. What are your thoughts about the oft repeated sentiment by men (maybe not by actual men, but I've heard it referenced more than once in pop culture) that they want a woman who is "a lady in the streets but a freak in the sheets". That is, they want someone who acts feminine, demure, proper, classy etc. while out in public but is an adventurous "slut" for her man in bed (and only for him, obviously). Do you feel that that is that a realistic expectation or desire for men to have? I ask because it…

Men seem to think that the attention women get from being hit on is more validating than it really is. I mean, PPD men are going on every other week about how they'd be happy to fuck a robot. Being hit on doesn't mean that a man finds you attractive; for all you know he thinks "Hey! Live human with a vagina!" and that's his entire motivation to hit on you. It doesn't mean much

Yep I had this happen to me, he went for the bitchy (but definitely hot) girl and that kind of stung. I wasn't ugly, but she was prettier/sexier. I did feel a tiny bit vindicated, though, when I witnessed her openly flirt with other men in front of him at a bar. I think she did that a few times, actually. They split up shortly after that.

Plenty of women with no or little experience would prefer the kissless virgin, if he is a good man and compatible with her, or else neither of them. Correct. When I was out and dating (I'm married now) I was specifically seeking a man with a low n-count like mine. My now-husband's count is 12, I think, and even that seemed pretty high for me.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/10/23 07:22 PM

if he has that view on sex, he cannot be a good husband and father, in my opinion. I agree and it's why men with big n-counts is/was a huge turnoff for me.

100%. Going by so many of the comments by men on PPD, they're not lonely, they just want a sex dispenser/brood mare/maid and they're pissed that they don't just get one for showing up anymore.

I should probably reword/clarify some things, as well as explain what I meant about being valued for athleticism. I could have worded it better. -You're right that as a man, I wouldn't necessarily have a fighting chance against another man, especially if he's much stronger. But, all other things being equal, I'd still have a better chance as a man than I would as a woman. -I don't mean that I, personally would be valued for my athleticism. With the torture thing I was moreso referring to how serial rapists/killers (85% of which are male) almost always seem to get some sort of sick pleasure in torturing their female victims before they kill them. That said, serial killers are very rare, so maybe it wasn't a particularly good point on my part, although if you read about shit like Shirley Ledford's death (where she was tortured very horrifically before she was killed, just for being female) it sticks with you. Where I live, men make up 80 percent of the murder victims, Do you know what the circumstances around these murders typically involve? I'm not asking because I'm trying to make some claim that "they don't matter" or "don't count" because they do; I'm trying to understand if all men where you live are more or less equally in danger if being murdered, or if it's more commonly related to riskier activities such as gang violence or drug involvement?

This is an interesting thought question because my answer is yes and no. Yes because: -Much less fear. Not common, but not exactly rare either. I should really make this question its own thread, but: Why is this the only situation in life when men lose their shit over something 'not being an achievement'? For example, we all regularly see other men who were born with a silver spoon in their ass who then go on to become rich, well-connected, educated, and powerful due to the circumstances they were born into. You don't see men coming up with derogatory names for such men who have been handed everything in life; in fact, other men revere …

I haven't heard of the atomic black pill experiment, but in regards to "Tinder Experiments" this is an absolutely excellent example of why the scientific method uses strict controls. So they were going off of Tinder data alone? Did they account for age? Socioeconomic class? Regional data? (that is, you can't get Tinder matches in a rural area if there is no one to match with. How selective do people become, in that case?) "Tinder Experiments" are only useful for examining a specific population t…

I agree with you entirely, but I did want to at least bring up the women that men reject so that we can collectively debunk the myth that some men don't have options. Just like women, most men have at least one option, but it doesn't mean that it's with a woman that they're attracted to/have chemistry with.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/09/23 01:21 AM

There are also men who have difficulty finding relationships with women, but once they finally have the chance with one, they blow it off entirely and reject the woman that shows him interest. Maybe it's not common, but it absolutely does happen.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/09/23 12:39 AM

Lol men think they want virgin women, but they actually don't. Virgin men want the the type of woman that they sniff out to be the "hot slut". They want to lose their V-card to a reasonably hot woman who clearly has had some experience, before they are willing to pursuit a virgin woman. They have to prove that they're hot shit by fucking the hottie, before they feel worthy of taking on the virgin. I was rejected left and right by guys and girls (as friends) all through my high school and early college years and it was absolutely shitty. One day I finally decided that I did not give a fuck, and that really did make all the difference (at least, as a woman). I no longer cared if either men or other women liked me, I was just tired. I did, however, go ahea…

Because there is a stigma to it, if a man tell his friend who’s about to start lifting to go to a only men gym, his friend might think he’s gay - and thought would cross at any man with healthy testosterone levels Sure, and this stigma is a very male issue that should be dealt with by men, and not blamed on women or feminism

I agree and I've always been of the mind that you don't have to follow some iron-clad script of how you live your life once you have children. My husband and I have a toddler and we still do so many things that we've always enjoyed. Things that we've done in the past year with the baby in tow include: going bowling, going to museums, trying new restaurants, going to friends' barbeques, having game nights with friends, pursuing our hobbies, taking road trips, flying to see family, taking crafting…

It has nothing to do with sex. It’s in the framing of the question that makes it apparent that people will be dishonest about it. It lends itself to people hiding the truth, even from themselves So is OP a troll? If it's apparent that people will be dishonest and hide the truth, then why ask? Why is it even allowed on this sub? By the fact that he's saying that "women won't be honest" implies that he knows and understands women's intentions better than women do. I stumbled across Redpill content way back in 2010. More accurately, I first came across MGTOW. I even remember how it happened: I was in my early twenties and dreaming about travelling the world. I had heard about the concept of "Ugly Americans" and I wanted to avoid that stereotype as much as possible. So I Googled "Ugly Americans" and one of the results that popped up was "Ugly American Women". Intrigued, I clicked on the link and ended up in my a MGTOW forum. From there, I found a link to RO…

The dudes on here defending it don't care because deep down they don't think it will ever happen to them, only women and famous people. The fastest way to get this shit regulated ASAP is if some anonymous person started making compromising deepfakes of many, many everyday, random men.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/02/23 03:54 AM

And, conversely, this is why men are defending it so hard. It's not like there's any shortage of porn---you can very easily find it, for free, on the little screen in your pocket, of every flavor and any kink you can think of, all day, every day. Yet, this alone supposedly hasn't reduced women's sexual power. The reason men are so hopeful for deepfakes is because of the personal nature of it. They want some woman's life to be ruined by it, they want a specific woman to be humiliated by it. "Oh y…

Reddit: you have children, and that makes you selfish because there are too many people in the world already, the environment is dying, and why would anyone want to bring an innocent life into this hellscape? Also Reddit: women who remain childless should be taxed for not performing their duty to the rest of us. I will admit to that, but with the caveat (as I mentioned) that some women do have very high sex drives. The reason that I point that out is because some men will try to use the excuse that women with high sex drives are just sluts and that it's unnatural for then to be so horny. That's not at all what I meant.

I think this is it. Women can have very high sex drives, but plenty of us don't have a sex drive as high as the average man. Not only do I not think that this is controversial, but it's honestly a relief in a way. One thing I want to mention about the "friend zone" is that men aren't always "put in it" maliciously. Redpill forums are the first places that I recall seeing "high value" "low value" and "sexual marketplace" language used. I don't think I've ever seen a man use these terms offline, and I think FDS is the only female space that I've ever seen them used by women outside of PPD on occasion. You're right about factoring in women's ages. In my own reply to this thread, I essentially said that personality is more important than physical traits. I'd argue that men want emotions from the other party during sex, too, but not in the same way women do. The usual **** Not All Men **** disclaimer. Probably not even most men.
