Here's another reason: I'm making $100,000 USD more than I was making as a salaried STEM worker with an advanced degree. But please, tell me more how I was unintelligent for leaving that position.

It wasn't only because of that thing, but I don't think you should insultingly say what would or would not have been the intelligent response given even that limited information, since it is obvious that you come from another country than me, given that English is obviously not your native language, so you lack context.

I was a woman in STEM. I left because of misogyny. Specifically, I left because my boss disagreed with mothers working out of the home, and he was backed up by the higher ups. He was fine with women working, but not mothers. Of course I thought about suing, but after looking into it, they played dirty and the victories that were won against them by other women were hard fought and really ugly. Most of us just leave quietly if we can't get ahead, or are forced out. I still use my scientific train…

I don't know why you would have to tell anyone? Just let it lead your actions. I wasn't interested in anyone but tall, athletic white guys. Did I broadcast that? Of course not. You can filter through guys at a glance, so posting requirements won't save you any time because you'll get messages from irate men. You don't need that negativity.
