In my experience, the men in big cities are also typically taller, in shape or at least not overweight, and have decent earnings. So you’re still left with the problem that men outside of cities have few over 30 options.

I’ve seen young women work hard purely so they can date up in socioeconomic status. Get into a top undergrad school, get into a top consulting or finance employer, then get your MBA paid for at a top school and find your husband there. A good portion of women go to B school to get their MRS degree rather than MBA. And it’s not a bad strategy, especially since MBA male grads typically do prefer to date a woman within their social sphere rather than a recent high school grad working at Hooters.

That’s no different than the classic woman’s Crazy to Hot diagram. The crazier the woman, the crazier good the sex is. Problem is you don’t want to be raising your kids with crazy.

The fastest way to kill off new jargon is to have it quickly run course through the older population. Having Joe Biden say “no cap, conservatives give me the ick” would force people to change their everyday vocabulary.

I have friends and family in China. However you may get somewhat of a biased opinion because my friends and family are from a tier 1 city. In fact, most people you meet from China in the west will very likely be from an urban center. In Chinese cities, men typically can find a partner, due to the amount of rural young women who migrate into the cities. In China, each region and city is passport locked, meaning if you’re from Xinjiang and you get a job in Shanghai for a better life, if you have a…

Work is just the option you have if you are not good enough as a partner. Major excuse for late stage capitalism impacts. Previously a man could work as the sole household income earner and his median income would be a fourth of average home prices. Put another way, 50 years ago the average house cost 4x the average household income with just one man working. Now a house costs over 7x median household income when on average both people are working. If women married without working, the average m…

Looks highly correlated with wealth. A wealthy young guy can afford better looking clothes, can hire a personal trainer, afford to shop healthier foods or even simply have healthy food delivered to his doorstep every night. Most young guys and girls aren’t wealthy so the reality is looks matter more.

Interesting that Asian Americans have the second lowest reported rate of being single, and only two points above whites. There’s a lot of discussion on Asians having it harder for dating / relationships but this graph doesn’t seem to imply it. A shame they didn’t split out the racial data by age group and gender.

The most desired men on tinder have a more fulfilling dating life than the below average woman. There’s only so many hours in a day so being able to match with 20 attractive women a day for a man is better than being able to match with 2,000 men of all shapes and sizes for a below average woman.

Do you understand that skewed sex ratios are often the by-product of sexism i.e. femicides look at China? That’s correct but that doesn’t mean after sex ratios became skewed, levels of violence didn’t further increase. Sexism was not just relegated to historical China btw, even in the US women didn’t have the right to vote until 100 years ago. There are institutional historical precedents which made women (and minorities) under-represented in positions of power and wealth. can’t ignore biologica…

You seem like you’re being argumentative for argument’s sake. The study provided is meant as a proxy of what could happen if sex ratios are out of sorts. I would argue those countries are sexist, but not uniformly so. There is more sexism in areas with skewed male populations. I love how you gloss over the scummy men. I love how you try to put words in my mouth, again seems like you’re trying to build up a straw man to take out your pent up aggression on. Scummy men aren’t just born, they learn …

I’ve not seen any research on overall violence being the same between domestic and societal. Most studies show that when a community has a skewed sex ratio, rapes among women go up and violence with weapons go up. The alternative is one where men are paired up and have something of value to lose, their relationship. Particularly if they start a family and now have kids. Are there scummy men who beat their wives and kids? Yes. But as the study above shows, overall domestic violence actually goes …

Presumably because these young men want to find relationships / partners but cannot while their female equivalents can. Badly skewed sex ratios are almost always a precursor for societal violence.

There’s a few ways this can be true. Yes it’s possible that some young men are in relationships with multiple young women. But also note that at the older age groups, it’s the women who are mostly singe. So it’s possible that young women are dating older men and most relationships maintain monogamy. But most concerning is that 51% of young men are single. That figure seems to be growing over time and it’s one of the primary sources of resentment in a young man’s life these days. I don’t know if …

Eh I’ll say it’s more to eastern cultures being more rooted in traditions than the west. China didn’t have as big a gender gap pre-cultural revolution and still had no feminist activism. Japan has more females than males while also having the same lack of feminism. True feminism at an economic level is actually more prevalent in China than the US. Two thirds of the world’s female billionaires are from China, also leading with the most self made female billionaires. Asian cultures are more direct…

The China way still involves humans making decisions at the top, and sometimes you get idiots making policies with no counter measures in place. China’s severe demographic imbalance between men and women are exactly because idiotic policies receive no pushback in an authoritarian government.

I would argue that there are much better indicators of how to tell if you are “being settled” for than hotness of prior body count. Spend a double date or two with a couple and you can pick up on relationship dynamics. Who’s doing more for the other? Who’s sacrificing more for the other? Is one person keeping the other from seeing their friends? There probably is some correlation between both men and women who used to date or fuck hot partners and then end up treating their current average partn…

This isn’t a perfect one to one comparison. An escort sleeps with men for their livelihood. Sure they can work a retail job but obviously this is more lucrative to them and their reasons for doing so is front and center. A woman on tinder sleeping with an equivalent number of guys is doing it for her own personal reasons - which could be anything but highly indicative that she would still want to scratch that itch if she were in a relationship with me. Whereas at least the escort has an excuse o…

end up just finding a few guys who will pay them to have sex every once and a while, and some of them have pretty low ppm prices To be fair, that just sounds like how backpages operated - these girls seem like independent escorts. Which is fine, but probably the overall combination of street prostitution, online prostitution, massage parlor prostitution, and sugar ppm type prostitution aren’t enough to be a big driver in sexless young men.

I'm glad you've found a way to accept it. For me it was a power thing. People treated me like garbage because I grew up poor and wasn't white in an otherwise upper middle class white neighborhood. Now I'm financially independent, drive a nice car, wear nice outfits and go to high end places where most people treat me with respect without getting to know my character. I used to think that this was proof I was better than my bullies - here I am in a position of power and I always tip well, treat r…

When people say “it gets better” to children it really just means when you turn 18 you’re no longer forced to be in school. You can definitely still get bullied at work or in college but at least adult physical assault leads to consequences whereas child bullies literally did not care.

“If I can just become rich, successful, attractive, and get a hot wife - that’ll teach them!” Yeah, I don’t doubt that it does teach them. But it doesn’t teach you - because you’re still the same person underneath, moulded by the experiences that made you think that way in the first place. Honestly in my case it doesn’t even teach them. Most of my bullies have no idea I exist and am doing very well financially and socially. A good number of them are in competitive sales type roles and married to…

Can’t speak for your specific area but in most of the US, there simply isn’t enough money to go around for something like 70% of attractive women to be getting sugar money from. If we’re talking monthly allowances of $2k or up, that’s really only a small percent of men who can afford that on top of taking them out, paying for trips or shopping, etc… In my experience, a good portion of attractive young women aren’t interested in having sex with older men but just want quick cash. Then you have ac…

Nah OLD is outright better than using social media to randomly DM women in your area unless you’re a mini celebrity. At least women with OLD profiles are ideally looking for a date. Attractive Women on social media are likely bombarded with DMs or have turned their messages to friends only. Unless you have some type of status, your message is going to get ignored in the same way that walking into Victoria’s Secret to pick up girls is going to have a low success rate. If you have the skill or mon…

No it is rare to have a third trimester abortion. But abortion arguments frequently boil down to a binary position of moral/immoral or legal/illegal rather than sliding scale.

I’m for at least educating people on the differences in fetal development between first and Third trimester. Most people would be against third trimester unless the mother’s health is seriously threatened.

Game isn’t horseshit but it’s a lot less valuable than physical features, financial status, and clout. Six feet, six pack picture gets you swipes. Average looking dude but lounging on your boat, Porsche, or your own apartment rooftop gets you swipes. Blue checkmark on any social media and you don’t even need OLD. Game used to mean openers and grabbing a girl’s interest. With OLD and social media in-person openers aren’t nearly as important and keeping a woman’s interest after she’s already match…

The biggest benefit of pairing up is easily the advantages for raising a child. Either one partner works and takes home a big paycheck while the other takes care of the children/home life or both partners work and you outsource the home life / child rearing to grandparents or caretakers. If you don’t plan on having a child then the second advantage is financial. Two people sharing household expenses and duties are more efficient than one. This is obviously predicated on having a solid relationsh…

Agree with the long term view on egalitarian. However in today's dating dynamics, appearance will matter more to kick off the relationship rather than one's contribution to household chores or career aspirations. A man prefers an attractive girl with no career aspirations but also quite useless when it comes to cooking, taking care of children, etc... over a career woman who's only a 5. Obviously the HVM would prefer and get a woman who has it all but most men are going to prioritize looks over …

Yeah I saw that study, but at the same time I believe there's not enough distinction made for differences within minority groups. When you consider 59% of Asians in the US are foreign born, you'll likely get a strong disconnect between a white girl who's more cultural acclimated to the US vs an Asian or Hispanic guy. I haven't seen any particular study that isolates US born East Asian men or South East Asian men and their dating results. However I suspect they would likely be doing much better w…

For men who’ve focused on their career, yes 30s can be an ideal time to find your life partner. This type of man likely is in his peak lifetime market value for both relationships and sex. He’s earning close to peak (most career men peak around 40s) but also close to physical peak (mid to late 20s physical peak for men). For someone who’s not born with elite looks, a man’s 30s is the most optimal time to be a top 20% man. This is particularly doubly true for guys who’ve managed to achieve some t…

Are you purposefully being dense or is your mobile messed up for you? when you click this link What do you see? You should see the first column as “Asian Indian Alone” And then when you scroll all the way down to “INCOME in past 12 months” you’ll see “Median household income (dollars)” which are $126,705. Btw Taiwanese and Filipino alone also exceed median household income of $100k.

I don't see anything in any of your links supporting your original statement of "After a 2nd generation is born, Hispanic/latino immigrants are statistically identical to native white voters, who overwhelmingly vote R." In the 2020 election 58% of whites voted Republican. Do you have a straight-forward statistic that shows 58% of 2nd and 3rd generation latino Americans voted for Trump or identified as republicans?

>Why did you lie? That source doesn’t separate out by race, it only summarizes incomes based on gender, disability, single, etc. I took the source directly from wikipedia: income by racial group For some reason, that table on the census website isn't working properly. But you can see in the wiki page above that Indian American households make $135k. Maybe this census table is working. Here's a different census visualization by racial group Here's one study by census bureau as of 2019 summarize…

Hispanic/latino immigrants are statistically identical to native white voters, who overwhelmingly vote R. Source? My understanding is that Latinos are very diverse in political beliefs. Cubans overwhelming lean Republican while Mexicans will be mixed but leaning Dem. The 2020 election showed while Trump lost, Latino support in Texas and Florida was better than expected. I think the Repubs are doing the right thing in terms of labeling Dems as socialists and all the things wrong with South Americ…

Here’s the source for income across various racial groups - as of 2018 surveyed by the Census Bureau. As someone who’s worked in an Ivy recruiting firm, we don’t pay immigrants on H1Bs any different. The inconvenient truth is that immigrant students aren’t as effective communicators but tend to work harder and be technically more competent. That’s perfect for tech, engineering, and entry level financial and pharma.

That’s odd because Asian Americans have the highest average income across all racial groups, and then within Asians, Indian Americans are the highest earning $135k median household. So according to you - Indians are coming over, legally getting sponsored for H1B visas by the US tech firms but only getting paid $30k. Eventually those H1Bs turn to citizenships and those Indian Americans magically start making six figures?

The only way to fix this is to make women complimenting men a common thing so that men don’t start making assumptions. Or return to a traditional route of arranged marriages only. Therefore no amount of compliments from a woman to a man could be confused for flirtation since the only route to marriage or sex is through familial relationships.

we become ever increasingly dependent on them until we “run out of clothes” to give. It is nothing more then a band aid fix. Wait are we depending on immigrants or are we giving them clothes? They are both hard working enough to take our jobs and lazy enough to take our welfare? Immigrants will be necessary at the higher STEM levels of the labor force unless we plan on revamping our culture of education.

I’m pretty sure the people preferring arranged marriages are those who can’t even find a partner, much less enthusiastic sex. It’s quite common in modern day India and China for young people to strike out during their college days and just end up focusing on their career. Later on their parents guilt them into being introduced to a partner due to familiar responsibility and furthering the family legacy etc… They realize they’re probably going to be alone for the rest of their lives anyways so th…

Even without a rise in FDS and MTGOW/Incel communities we can expect to see a big drop in birth rates due to deteriorating economic conditions for the middle and lower classes. When you add in the impact of both men and women looking past each other for better alternatives thanks to social media and OLD, it’s likely one of two things will happen. Revamped immigration laws to allow for organic replacement of the US labor force as native born US citizens have fewer and fewer children. This is prob…

Depends how much money and what type of guy. Most 19-22 year olds are clueless about life in general, regardless of gender. A rich older guy comes along and takes a girl to her first fancy dinner, she might not even know her silverware. There are some circles where girls may have spent her teenage years (say 16 and above) around older men for whatever reason and feel more comfortable bossing him around but most young girls are accepting that they’ll be the follower in a relationship with the old…

I notice the opposite actually, tall guys don’t have a preference but someshort girls are extremely into tall guys, like their version of the Napoleon complex or something. I suppose from a biological standpoint their setting up their children to be taller than if she got with a short man, so it’s really the short guys we should feel bad for.
