For some reason, I read this as "Ultra High School teacher".

You're just shoving words down her throat, mate. Chill.

You sounded like a fucking moron. Way to go.

You misquoted her. She only claimed mostly women. Not all women.

The whole idea of these slice of hell shows is to watch people be drilled and get mad. Violence, while most likely prohibited by contract, is kind of expected. It doesn't happen often, but it does. Knowing that, had Gordon been a woman and this woman a man, I see no compelling reason to believe that it would be any different. If you have actual evidence of this kind of thing happening where a drama-propelled show leads a man to get up in the tough, blunt female host's face and try and hit her on…

I did make change because I explained to her the double standard and while she obvioudly pulled back, she understood what I was saying.

No, I very much support the men's rights community. I'm obviously not here to slander women or deny that they have social inequalities, but I do not serve women. I'm just not here to nod my head at all of the (here's a word you'll never see me use again) misogynistic views posters may have.

Again, it wasn't much of an opinion. She shared it because of the joke and didn't think about the complete double standard, which I pointed out to her and she realized. The reason I posted this was because both of these shared posts were relevant to the double standard and within such close proximity of each other that I was initially dumbfounded.

I already talked to her about the basics of the counterarguments and she pretty much agreed with me.

The stereotype of a pedophile has a lot of different aspects, but a sort of casual mustache is one of them. That's obviously not true in the slightest and offensive to some, but the humor she got from it comes from the stereotype and how relatable it was to her. If you present it like "So you believe men should be shamed for having mustaches," she will obviously disagree. Yes, you can say that with a lot of things that are more or less offensive and it doesn't take anything away from it, but...y…

Both the idea that men should be ashamed if they have mustaches and the idea that women are only people and men are objects.

Um...no. I know her and she definitely does not believe that.

I did call her out and she basically said that she found it funny, but that the double standards rile her up as well and that it wasn't okay. She didn't view it through the double standard, but mainly through the joke. The purpose of the beard post was the mustache joke, but the statements before it weren't suddenly invalid. I don't know how to take her response, honestly. Keep in mind that I know and respect her in real life and she's the kind of person who sort of shuts down during harsh criti…

Men and women are not always the same, nor are black men and white men. They have the potential to be incredibly similar, but there is such thing as black and white communities in the U.S. Many black people are raised differently, same as white. They end up with different personalities, mannerisms, types of peer pressure, behaviors, etc. and will go through life with different perspectives and morals. Black people in the U.S. apparently commit crimes more often for that reason. Demographics don'…

I don't think those have to do with women consciously committing crimes because they know they'll get off easier; they would regardless be incarcerated. The fault lies within the court system itself on the whole "lesser sentences". Women completely avoiding incarceration is a thing, yes, perhaps because of their gender. But do you ever stop to see how often men aren't charged with crime? Is it because of their penis? Likely not. That's what leads me to believe there's some other factor a lot of …

TIL any time a woman isn't charged with a crime, it solely because she has a vagina.

How the media reacts is the problem: they either don't care or they think it's funny. I would have to side with you on the point I see you're getting at which is that the men probably don't care about the "sexual assault". That goes for a lot of men in many different cases. MRAs and such tend to see this as horrible abuse just like how it's treated with women, but honestly, not a whole lot of men care. Feminism in media has put the standard that assault against women is offensive and disrespectf…

Wasn't that the best reasoning I've ever heard. Nothing in this case leads me to believe it's a pussy pass. Does anyone have a case where male with no criminal record was given a much heavier sentence under similar charges under this youth law? Keep in mind, it's the judge's call.

So I guess any sort of shitty sentencing to happen to a female is due solely to the factor of her gender and white-knighthood. Need I remind you of Ethan Couch?

Stupid - That's not an explanation, that's a complete copy and paste of your first comment. Simple - Okay? Content is obviously praised - No fucking shit. A lot of these issues are serious, but not only that, they're completely overlooked by the media, by the general public, and even feminists. They are real issues that no one seems to give a damn about, even the women who shout "equal rights" in the streets and on tumblr. They need to be brought to light in order to achieve gender equality. If …
