They should, we're in the 21st century.

Women control access to sex, men control access to relationships.

I agree RP content seems deterministic and reinforces strict gender roles, using a veneer of scientific language. I do agree with RP on the fact that we are not blank slates. RP proponents confuse an is for an ought in trying to dictate behaviors people should follow.

Unmarried/childless women are a threat to religious fanatics and conservatism because they tend to vote Dem, and conservatives believe that they shouldn't be working but tending to home.

Question: What is wrong, on your count, about women having financial independence from men?

It's called hypergamy. Women can be more hypergamous than men, and may seek novelty and a higher status man than the boring, routine nice guy. But is that new love going to have her back when things start going south in her life, disease, death, and aging? Her beauty is an asset that fades with time, and there is no guarantee that her new man wont dump her once her beauty fades or he gets bored, and that the man she dumped because he was a boring good guy would take her back. Sure, dump your bor…

Yes please! As a neurodivergent guy who doesn't particularly enjoy flirting or approaching women, this would be a godsend (assuming women are attracted to me in the first place).

This consent thing has gone too far. No, you don't need to ask consent just to talk. Talk to them and you shall find out if she is open. Kissing is another matter entirely.

OP your point is proven because your examples became yet another round of pointless extreme arguments. It´s tough to think critically about these dating issues without getting emotional.

Agree. The level of rage and lack of critical thinking of some RP and PP men on this sub who fall for reactionary ideas is sad and worrying.

Oh god, another "woe is me" criticism of society and how men are just some victims. There is some truth to these claims though. Modern society, feminism or wokeism have not destroyed the social contract (for the most part); unchecked crony laissez-faire libertarian, oligarchic capitalism have.

This is a very broad generalization. Women are no more slaves to their emotions than men. Maybe different emotions, but emotions nonetheless.

I am currently dating/ in a relationship, with a woman to whom I am not attracted. We met through Bumble. She is attracted to and has feelings for me, which is a problem. We had a disagreement some time ago and I tried to extricate myself from the relationship to no avail. You may ask, if you're not attracted to her why are you still dating? Well, at the moment, I have no other romantic prospects (none of the ladies I really like on Bumble like me back), she's company and it beats being lonely a…

Thank you. I do think some childish, immature, resentful or vindictive women use the BD/SD energy thing or penis shaming to hit back at men, but men also have that pressure from other men, directly or indirectly. That seems to be especially the case in the gay scene, where the bigger dicks are worshiped. As a member of the under-endowed, it is heartening to see not all women care about dick size.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/09/22 10:37 PM

A good part of that body shaming and dick obsession comes from men themselves I think. I agree that men and women are not good or bad depending on their physical characteristics. The study dealt with perceptions. The penile characteristics of the men who (knowingly or unknowingly gave the source material) were classified and correlated to different attributes, but unfortunately that doesn't tell us anything about their actual personalities, aside from the fact that they seem to have confidence i…

That's just great, another study confirming what I've know all along, women prefer bigger dicks and find them more attractive and correlated with positive personality traits. The study didn't use the phrase big/small dick energy, but it might have as well. As an under-endowed guy, this sucks.

Why are you bringing up Selective Service, which I agree should list both men and women, if there is no draft anyways? In many countries up until the early 20th century, and in many Islamic countries even today, women can't do many things without their husband's or father's approval, so all power resided in males.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/09/22 07:17 PM
2

So you say all 4 billion or so women want is power? Many just want to be in a stable and loving relationship. Narcissism exists in both sexes. Also, for the longest time (pretty much until the 20th century), women weren't allowed to make their own money, own businesses, cash checks at the bank, etc. without their husband's consent, so it makes sense, in that circumstance, that women would look at men with money/status/power as a way to ensure their own survival.

Fair enough, but that's just life, we reach a peak of physical attractiveness and after some point, we begin a slow yet progressive physical decay.

Agree with you. I find the term big dick energy depressing because it implies small dick energy is the opposite, low confidence, object of mockery and ridicule, it makes life and finding a relationship more difficult. I'll be at a movie or with a group and hear a small penis jokes and comments. I hate it when people say, just be confident. Well, confidence has to be based on something real, and one cannot just generate confidence ex nihilo if there is no basis from where to have confidence.

We should be past the phase of holding on to antiquated norms and expectations. Women should be free to be sexual beings, and to seek out whatever mating partner they wish, and freed from obsolete ideas that they have to be passive, nurturing, submissive and wait to be approached. Women of the world, go forth, take life by the horns and start hitting on men. Hit me up, before you go go.

If he is not supporting you in your goals and try to find compromise, wants traditional gender roles and to top it all off, he doesn't have a stable job, then dump him and find yourself a man who wants you to succeed at your goal and not merely be subservient to him.

You got it! IMHO Libertarianism works well for people in rural areas with its emphasis on self reliance, being left alone and little regulation. It doesn't work well in big cities.

No. I understand the need for a strong national defense, but the budget appropriations for the military are. The US spends more money in the military than the next 5 countries combined. That's insane! You know what would bring much more peace to this wary and tired humanity? The signing of a treaty or accord between Russia and the US/NATO. The Accord would assure Russia that NATO will not incorporate Ukraine as a member state, and assures NATO & US that Russia will not engage in bellicose activi…

Libertarianism is conservatism's weirdo sibling. Unlike conservatives, they want weed, but like conservatives, they want limited /s maller government, but never fully explain what that entails. Like conservatives, libertarians rail against regulations, but regulations are what keeps food safe to eat, water safe to drink, the air clean to breathe, planes safe to fly, buildings safe to inhabit, etc. There's limited government in Afghanistan, Libya and Somalia, those countries don't seem to be doin…

ig Dick Energy See, there we go again, the Big Dick Energy thing, which naturally implies small dicks are lame. But yes, I don't know why some men send unsolicited dick pics. Even if I had a 9" dick I wouldn't send them, it's just rude.

On behalf of the underendowed, I thank you. I agree that the person attached to the dick/vagina matters a lot. It should matter waaay more than the tool. Unfortunately, some women (especially if you're looking for ONS or NSA) and the vast majority of gay guys, won't give you the light of day or will openly mock you or spread rumors about you if you show them a small dick. In this size obsessed culture (big houses, big trucks, big ships, big portions, big boobs, etc.) it's no wonder that LPG are …

See this is the thing underendowed guys like myself have to deal with frequently, the mockery of our manhood, something we cannot control. I've heard people say oh, he's XYZ but he has big dick energy, which implies big dicks are great and small ones are only to make fun of or humiliate. I'm bi, but wouldn't consider going into bed with another guy because, if some women are size queens, the vast majority of gay men are big dick worshipers, so that's a no go for me.

Reading through all the replies is quite depressing, the sadness, anger and suffering of people is evident. I think a lot has to do with social media creating false narratives, and the rigged dating apps, which are basically a scam, at least for men. I hate all this referring to people as LVM, LVW, HVM, HVW, Alpha, Beta, etc. Those are just ways to pingeonhole, marginalize and having contempt for others. Nobody determines the value of another person, except for the person themselves. The fact th…
