12	Women upset because they are temporarily banned from FaceBook for calling men 'scum'. Well that's kinda because they've been put on a pedestal for a long time, to be worshipped and taken care of and such, instead of being treated equally. You know, being sent to die in war and collapsing world trade centers out of duty and having to wait in line for the proverbial lifeboats just like everyone else. I mean when someone freaks out at you, they might just need a shock - there's lots of videos on here where people's tirades just stop and turn into something else when e.g. their victims fight back. Actually, there was an article about the biochemistry of a slap. I think it was something like that it triggers the fight or flight reaction and calms people right down. It's about intent I guess - since a lot of countries don't have bears (or bears in the city), things like pepper spray have only one practical purpose - and it's not to enhance the flavor of your meals. (warning: this post derailed a bit :p ) This is something to keep in mind; self-defense is a complicated issue over here, I believe pepper spray isn't even sold in this country (NL) because we don't get bears and the like - there's no practical reason for anyone to be carrying it. Well, besides violent or persistent assaulters. It gets worse.
