So on one hand you said people enjoy hanging out with the person they're dating, but you can't give an explanation why there's an imbalance in who is initiating these hang outs? I'm sure you have an opinion why you think so, but if you want to pretend you don't, and feign ignorance to the entire idea then we can leave it there.

Just picturing Andrew Tate trying to work on his personality while being an incel is genuinely hilarious 🤣

I didn't say they don't initiate, I said why don't they do it as often as men? Don't dodge the question

There is no comparison in doing something you enjoy for yourself and doing it for/with your children. The sort of person who enjoys going out and about will often despise having children because they would restrict them doing what they want either due to time or money.

Men having the sex drive they have is the entire reason why they are the ones who initiate most things with women. It's to your benefit that men have these desires. And funny you saying this: This seems to reinforce that men don't care about women as people. They only care to get their dick wet. With your flair I don't see why you're bothered if that was true. Regardless, why can't we turn that logic on women, why do they not initiate as often as men if it's so good?

Good genes? Nobody gives a shit about that. You guys here are delusional

Absolute delusion lmao. Thinking enjoying social activities would translate to good parenting is one of the funniest things I've read.

How would someone know what someone else is tolerating unless they talk about it? Most of the time it's behind closed doors. For example, a friend complains about their partner but in person they act like it's all going fine.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/10/25 02:07 PM

It's the closest you'll get. And it does indicate what that other person was saying is true, if there's a trend that attractiveness and personality are rated equally, it shows that people will tolerate things in someone they find attractive compared to if they weren't attracted to them. What proof are you looking for?

This sort of graph shows a trend that supports that behaviour. <image>

Bro I don't want to be like Tate or think he's my path to "success" I just gave you an example of 2 different people. Good for you that women in your social circle wouldn't want him. They wouldn't in mine either, that's not the point though, average guy vs someone like Tate, average guy loses out the majority of the time, agree or disagree?
/r/PurplePillDebate25/10/25 08:52 PM
3

The question you'd need to ask is would want x average guy who's not a misogynist or would you want a rich guy with a good physique who's a myosgynist. I'd reckon majority of women would choose the 2nd guy

You automatically assume that patriarchy means that women will be subjugated and oppressed. Using definition lets you as indefinitely blame it for any issues because by this definition the "patriarchy" will never end and will always be at fault for whatever you want it to be at fault for. The violent personality aspect is not what’s arousing to women. It’s what makes the plot unrelated to romance interesting. No, they like that a guy who has the capacity to do such a thing but won't do it to the…

"Confident" is doing a lot of heavy lifting here, if it was a villain you'd describe the same behaviour as controlling and overly domineering. "Respectful" is also doing a lot of heavy lifting, dubious consent among other things is one of the most common tropes in these books, you'd call that respectful? 99% of the time it's this
/r/PurplePillDebate25/10/25 06:43 PM
7

Every mmc in those books takes the lead and is the stereotypical patriarchal leader, the ones who aren't defacto leaders are 2nd in command, how is that not patriarchal? Would you say if a guy is playing a shooter video game, this means he wants to kill people in real life? Probably not… This isn't a real comparison, how about we compare it to men who watch porn. Do you think these men don't actually want to have sex with whoever they're watching? Not talking about relationships here, I'm talkin…

He's not defending or attacking anything here. He's just pointing out that women's fantasies they often label as separate to what they want IRL is not true, the same way someone who consumes disgusting loli stuff as separate to IRL is just a lie they like to tell. At the end of the day you'll often pretend these aren't real desires because it shows women also have a base sexual desire like men and leaves you without the high-ground women so often love to stand on where they look at female sexual…

Nah, it's really funny to me how so many women really can't admit that they have fantasies about these things. In 10 years I won't be surprised to hear the same women saying "that goes without saying" like you did about appearance.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/10/25 06:08 PM
9

Acotar? You genuinely are using that as a counter example? I'm a guy and even I've read them and know they follow all the typical tropes of what the ideal male is appearance wise, and the male characters basically have the stereo typical dark triad traits.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/10/25 06:03 PM

Luckily I never had the desire to read or watch that trash. However your reasoning for why it's popular is so bad that even I know it's bs.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/10/25 06:01 PM
9

I've literally read plenty of books like that, why do some women like you try desperately to portray that many women have no taboo tendencies or desires? Does admitting that a lot of women have these fantasies destroy the notion that women's desire isn't pure unlike men's so you don't have the moral high-ground?
/r/PurplePillDebate25/10/25 05:58 PM
2

Could be true based on the number of women who supposedly have experiences with horrible boyfriends or partners who seem to not contribute anything to a relationship. If he's supposedly everything bad in this world, what else could have possibly attracted you to him? However the more likely answer to this is that women love to lie and exaggerate how bad their relationships were.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/10/25 12:08 PM

So what do you call women getting offended when asked about "body count"? Why do women take it as an insult when they're asked about it?
/r/PurplePillDebate22/10/25 04:29 PM
2

They definitely do complain without being insulted, calling men who have this standard insecure, incels etc.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/10/25 03:38 PM
3

It is a good thing, so why do so many women complain when men have this as a standard? If they weren't bothered they'd be happy to avoid these men
/r/PurplePillDebate19/10/25 05:46 PM

Online yes, in real life where do you see any shaming?
/r/PurplePillDebate19/10/25 01:29 PM

I personally don't have the issues most of these guys on here have since I don't agree with 90% of what they say. Standards I have disregarding appearance since that's subjective: modest, chaste, religious, educated, good character in terms of kindness, morals, empathy. This one isn't really a standard but something I'd really appreciate, being a good cook. For other chores I don't mind taking a bigger share to make up for it

You are the one who brought up married couples, not him. You brought up married men as a defence for women to say that married men cheat more than married women, then say HE's using them to extrapolate to non married women? You realise non married women from the ages 18-29 cheat more than non married men? You couldn't even address my point and just tried to disregard it. I've read the entire thread, you're just insincere in your defence of women that you can't even admit to an objective statisti…

First of all, I'm from the UK so your minimum wage numbers are different. The comment was also on Instagram. Also even worse for you is the fact that even if it were US based, your quality of life is still better than most people's, does this show that people are spoiled? majority of the world lives in way worse conditions but manage fine
/r/PurplePillDebate15/10/25 12:32 AM

It has to do with the demographic that cheats. If what I said has 0% go do with cheating, so does your point about cheating in married couples relationships which I dismantled
/r/PurplePillDebate14/10/25 10:37 PM
4

Funnily enough when they do have standards they're called insecure or controlling. Idk if it's just me but I think the guy who accepts anything with no standards can be labeled insecure because he doesn't want to be alone, much more than the guy who has boundaries and doesn't accept certain things, which is risking him being single.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/10/25 10:00 PM
2

Which type of man do you think is able to marry at that age? Usually a guy who has something going for him, the fact is that 63% of men in that age group get nothing whereas it's 34% for women (this is the percentage that report being single). Therefore, the men who are doing this likely have options to do so, due to whatever quality they have which attracted a woman to marry them in the first place. Yet women somehow shift the blame on so-called "incels".
/r/PurplePillDebate14/10/25 09:50 PM

Not going to comment about the topic, but regarding this part when I see and hear women taking about men not being fit for relationships it's literally just that they don't know how to be adults who are good company and respect women. This could be referring to a man a woman finds attractive because of height/looks/money, he just doesn't also possess these other qualities she's complaining about. I asked women if they would be willing to be with a man who was completely respectful, had good char…

The simple fact of the matter is men have a way higher libido and sexual attraction towards women than the other way around.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/10/25 04:24 PM

And the only women who are offended feel inadequate in some way. Right?
/r/PurplePillDebate08/10/25 03:05 AM

I could say the same about women critiquing men's capacity for violence. Too weak to do it so they act like they're above it
/r/PurplePillDebate05/10/25 03:04 AM

Harassed by men I can see. Reasons or logic for mocking and shaming for virginity in women is not the same as in men. A woman mocking another woman for being a virgin is like someone mocking you for not making an expensive mistake which you could afford but don't because it's a bad decision. They want you to make the same "mistake". In a situation where a man might do this it's because she's not giving him something he wants, not because he actually finds it shameful or bad, if that happens then…

Yeah, I see comments on Instagram by girls in some "gender war reel" which a lot of guys will hate, and even I may not agree with. I'll see the guys calling her a 2/10 or something lol. I'm not that delusional where I see a pretty girl to call her a 2/10 and receive 400 likes from other bitter men. Disagreements are one thing, acting like a perfectly fine looking woman is a 2/10 just makes me face palm. Also makes me wonder what they actually consider a 10/10, usually it's some girl who looks li…

🤷‍♂️ beats me, issue with a lot of these guys is something I can't relate to, I just like being here for entertainment and making remarks.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/09/25 04:40 PM

Actually no I wasn't thinking that, you could be perfectly respectful and likeable. I was thinking more along the lines the guys you want have more options. If you're attracted to them then it's likely other girls are so they have options. Vice versa for the guys you don't like who are attracted to you.

Any time I’ve done the work to show a man I’m interested he loses interest in me faster than if he just asked me out himself. Couldn’t tell you why it just appears to be what it is. I could have a guess as to why but I don't think you'd like the answer.

On this subreddit you have women saying it's obvious without saying that women also care about looks yet you're here acting like you're above all that? So yeah, I wouldn't say women are more honest than men regard this.

It seems the issue for you is you want the guys you like to approach you, and your ego is boosted by guys you don't like approaching you which you nicely put as being flattered. I'm a guy who's 5'3, who do you think has it harder, you a tall woman or me a short man?

There is something to be said about people who are good at talking to others, a negative example of this type of person is a politician. If you look at the negative characteristics in the way they communicate you'll notice plenty, yet they are "good" at talking to others and convincing people to vote for them or buy into their ideas. Now using this concept I can see how someone can arrive at OP's point, I do think there is some truth to it.

Idk you know more than me, I forgot what I learned back then but the manner in which she spoke I remember quite vividly for some reason, probably because I was quite surprised a teacher would make comments with such disdain 🤣

I had a female biology teacher describing the y chromosome as "quite small and pathetic". I'm not sure where that would rank in terms of misandry but unrelated to that she got replaced the next year (poor teaching and many complaints).

I'm sure there are, but men have way more difficulty in this aspect, so what's the point of bringing this up? Do you say the same when talking about male Vs female crime statistics?

Let me be clear, there is no great conspiracty to pretend women aren't attracted to attractive guys. WTAF kind of place do you pick this idea up from? The whole idea that women prefer "dad bods" is one, I've yet to see any romance book cover showcasing this btw
/r/PurplePillDebate08/09/25 11:11 PM

What does voting have to do with anything? Conservatives have been in charge in the UK and saw the most immigrants?
/r/PurplePillDebate06/09/25 07:18 PM

Let me just give you my own experience for example, I'm a man who is 5'3. Now, do you think I behave the way other larger men behave with more assertiveness and confrontation? Or do you think I avoid confrontation, or avoid putting myself on situations which could escalate which I do based on risk assessment knowing I'm probably weaker? I don't start blaming them for my actions, I just accept it for what it is
/r/PurplePillDebate31/08/25 01:00 PM

It's part of the topic of this thread. If you don't put yourself in compromising situations, you heavily reduce the risk of being attacked. It's just the reality of the world

/r/PurplePillDebate31/08/25 02:37 AM

True, I've heard plenty of stories of guys warning women about the guys they're with which the woman doesn't heed. Surprise surprise something horrible happens. Usually the woman calls the guy insecure or some other buzzword that's popular these days
/r/PurplePillDebate31/08/25 01:54 AM

It's a completely irrelevant argument, nobody is saying rape is okay to start with, we also aren't having a trial to judge blame on the victim. It's common sense that actions and decisions have consequences, putting yourself in the lions den and then thinking there was nothing you could do when the lion mauls you is called having no accountability.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/08/25 09:33 PM

Besides the one saying men more likely to leave if their partner gets sick That one's been debunked but doesn't stop feminists using it to bash men
/r/PurplePillDebate23/08/25 09:23 PM
3

I disagree on the "need" part. People can do what they want evidently, but in the same way some women somehow call guys who have a requirement in this aspect for ideal partners disgusting or any insults, guys will throw insults at women who engage in this "fun" and then decide to settle down. In the west it's seen as something men have to accept otherwise they're a disgusting abuser looking for a naive victim when they don't want these women.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/08/25 10:25 PM

The men who do that aren't the ones who complain, in fact the modern sexual revolution benefits those types of men the most, who have access to sex with minimal commitment and effort compared to the past
/r/PurplePillDebate20/08/25 08:55 PM

Probably, but let's add if the woman had her fun and then decided this, I think that's a major gripe with a lot of men
/r/PurplePillDebate20/08/25 08:01 PM

It's the whole concept of what their preferences are which are contradictory to their "beliefs" regardless of what they end up with. Why should I force progressive women to date? Who said that? It's just hypocritical and pathetic to not want to partner someone due to their economic situation when you hold beliefs regarding gender roles/being a progressive. All you need to do is admit that many progressive women are hypocrites in this regard. But you won't do that I reckon because a substantial n…

Again with the hyperbole, nobody is saying men don't do it, the point is women do it more. Having in-group bias doesn’t mean you turn blind to bad behaviour. That's exactly what it means, women automatically favour women over men, that directly implies that they (to a certain extent) turn blind to women's bad behaviour Tired of this conversation because you can't accept that women can't possibly be worse in some behaviours than men, ironically supporting this post.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/07/25 06:44 PM
6

That's one of the reasons they may call it out, do you think not calling out bad behaviour is better than calling it out if you think you'll benefit in some way? Also stop the hyperbole, I said that women have in-group bias 4.5 stronger than men, these are facts like I already linked. There's nothing to argue here. Men excuse each other’s shit too. How many times have you heard “he’s just blowing off steam” or “that’s just how he is” or “boys will be boys” when a guy acts out? I can't remember t…
/r/PurplePillDebate27/07/25 03:29 PM

Men have out-group bias, so no they don't have the same behaviours as women, which is why they call each other out, especially if it's to gain favour with women. 4.5 times stronger. Also not holding each other accountable doesn't mean the opposite where you high five them for bad behaviour, it's as simple as ignoring it or making excuses for actions where if a man did the same thing they would have a much harsher reaction. I struggle to believe you don't think women do this more than men.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/07/25 01:26 PM
1

You just said a load of nothing, "self reflect and adapt" like what exactly does this even mean? All I got from your comments is men should accept the status quo and be happy about it. Maybe if simps stop accepting the baggage these women bring over and keep them perpetually single things would change.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/07/25 12:19 PM
2

Women have an in-group bias, that automatically shuts down any notion that you hold each other accountable.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/07/25 10:04 AM

So what? Not the guys problem, the actions and consequences are things you'll have to live with forever.
