I'm glad they did the study for this but it's common knowledge in the armed forces. Hell, if you are too small of a guy who can't carry heavy loads you will be a burden. I am not sure if it's still this way but you have to be able to fireman's carry someone at a certain weight to even pass basic training in some branches.
